MRS. MARGRETTA ANISE COOPER
A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Margretta A. Cooper of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2018, will be held (today) Friday, January 19th, 11 a. m. at Bible- Based Fellowship of Temple Ter- race, 8718 N. 46th St., Pastor Earl Mason, officiating. The inter- ment will be in Rest Haven Me- morial Park Cemetery.
Margretta Anise Cooper was born January 28, 1967 in Miami, Florida, to the late Arthur and Larida Hamilton. Margretta en- joyed ceramics and word search puzzles.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Arthur James Hamilton and Larida J. Hamil- ton; sister, Vernet Johnson; grandmother, Ruby Parrott.
She leaves to cherish her pre- cious memories with: her hus- band, Dexter Cooper; brothers, Irving Jackson, Arthur Hamil- ton, Byron Haugabook and Gor- don Haugabook; sister, Xiomara Griffin; aunts, Anna E. Jackson and Estella Parrott; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
The visitation was held Thursday, January 18th from 5- 7 p. m. and the family received friends from 5-6 p. m.

He was preceded in death by: his mother, Thomsena Robinson; his parents, Nathaniel and Mattie Robin- son; brother, Joseph Edward Robinson; sisters, Myrtle Jean Robinson, Luvernia Murray and Betty Jean Wilson; grand- parents, James and Rebecca Robinson and Paul, Sr. and Daisy B. Green.

Murray, Gwen Howard, Carol Stephens, Linda Robinson, Shonda Har- rison, and Jacquelyn Stokes, Tampa, FL; uncles, Freddie Green (Dorothy), Las Vegas, NV; Richard Williams (Thelma), Tampa, FL; aunts, Mary Myers and Carrie Williams, Tampa; and a host of other sorrowing nieces, nephews, cousins, other rela- tives and friends.
Mr. James Lee Robinson was born on December 3, 1944 to Thomsena Robinson, adopted and raised by Nathaniel Robinson and Mattie Green Robinson. He attended the public schools of Hillsbor- ough County, graduating from Howard W. Blake High School, Class of 1963.
After graduation, he en- listed in the Army and served in the Vietnam War. Upon re- turning to Tampa, he was ac- tive in coaching little league softball and mentoring the younger children (mostly fam- ily members) on how to “stay out of trouble.” He was always a protector to his sisters here.
Visitation will be held at Gudes Funeral Home, 4050 East Hillsborough Ave., on Fri- day from 5-7 p. m. Family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday morning at 10:45 a. m.

Mr. Moses Carter, Jr. was born January 2, 1944 to the union of the late Moses Cater, Sr. and the late Vinnie Mae (Wilker- son) Carter in Slocomb, Ala- bama. He was one of 12 children. Raised in a Christian family, he had a praying mother. He at- tended public schools in Geneva County.
He moved to Tampa at a younger age. Moses enjoyed fish- ing, singing his own songs, play- ing music and playing basketball. He also enjoyed going to the pool hall with his nephews to show off his skills.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; sisters, Maggie Carter, Josephine Murray and Elder Mozell Moore; brother, Elder Robert Carter; and grand- daughter Jasmine Clark.
He leaves to cherish memo- ries: his children, Bobby Carter, Moses Carter (Brandy), Stanley Carter, Adriot Carter, Justice Clark, Shayla Carter (William) and Tammy Carter; 4 sisters, Elder Johnnie M. Akins, Mother Minnie Boyd, Pastor Mary Cov- ington and Elder Patricia Moore; 3 brothers, Bobby Carter, Pastor Willie Frank Carter (Gloria) and Bishop Johnny Carter, Sr. (Naomi); sisters-in-law, Elder Velma Carter and Annie Ruth Carter; 21 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation for Mr. Moses Carter, Jr. will be this Friday evening from 5-8 p. m. at Har- mon Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p. m.
The processional will assem- ble Saturday at 10:45 a. m. at the church.

MR. FRANK AUGUSTINE STOKES, SR.
A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Frank Augustine Stokes, Sr. of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018, will be held Saturday, Jan- uary 20th at 2 p. m. at Aikens Fu- neral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Pastor Deano Eliam, pastor of Shekinah Harvest Break Through, officiat- ing. The interment will be in Or- ange Hill Cemetery.
Frank was born September 19, 1927, to the late George and Emily Stokes in Kingston, St. Vincent, BWI. Frank was a loving husband, father, grandfather and good friend; he was an all- around good man.
He moved to Tampa, Florida later in life where he met his wife, Hattie Mae Thomas Stokes. Frank enjoyed spending time with family, playing dominoes and fishing. He was a truck driver for many years, where he retired from Amcon “Tarmac.”
He was preceded in death by: his parents, George and Emily Stokes; sister, Caroline Stokes; brothers, Robert and Vincent Stokes; nephews, Lenox Bonnie and Lawrence Stokes.

MR. CLARENCE NAMAN WALKER
A Graveside Service for Mr. Clarence Naman Walker of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2018, will be held on Saturday, January 20th, 11 a. m. at Orange Hill Ceme- tery, 4900 E. Chelsea Street, Elder Jimmie Williams and Minister Frankie Harris, officiating. The interment will follow.
Clarence Naman Walker was born on July 3, 1924 in Tampa, Florida, to Harry Elijah and Sally Walker, Sr. He graduated from Middleton High School and served in the U. S. Navy during WWII. Clarence began his career in the construction industry and was one of the first blacks in Tampa, Florida to complete an ap- prenticeship in masonry with the local union #8, Southeast Divi- sion of International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craft Workers. Over the years, his ca- reer with the union exposed him to a vast array of development projects in the Tampa Bay area. He is noted with working as a con- crete mason on several of the first buildings erected on the campus of the University of South Florida. He retired from the union as a master concrete mason.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; and his faithful wife, of over 50 years, Inez Louise Slyke Walker; two brothers, Theodore “Teddy” Dallas and Harry Elijah Walker, Jr.; one sister, Paris Vir- ginia Walker Cannon; and one nephew, Keith Cannon.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ory: one son, Julius Cornelius Cochran, Sr., (Deidre); godson, Anthony Cochran (Charisse); two nieces, Cheryl Cannon-Lassiter and Sandra Walker; two nephews, Rochester Boyd, Jr. and Ronald Cannon; three grandsons, Julius Cornelius Cochran, Jr. (Shauna), Marquis Cornelius Cochran and Jalen Cornelius Cochran; one granddaughter, Megan Cochran; as well as a host of grand and great nieces and nephews; special thanks to his caregiver, Tammy Hankerson; and a host of other family and friends.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Satur- day, January 20th one hour prior to the service, from 10-11 a. m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the gravesite on Satur- day for the service.
