MRS. MARINE ASKIEW
A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Marine Askiew of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, will be held on Saturday, June 23rd, 11 a. m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Rev. Joseph Reed, pastor, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Marine Askiew’s life began on January 9, 1923, in Gadsden County, Florida. She was born to the late Ralph Rawls and Hurlie Barber Rawls. She attended the public schools of Gadsden County. She was married to the late Edward Veto Askiew, Jr. for over 76 years, who preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her pre- cious memoires with: her de- voted daughters, Dorothy Askiew, Debra Brown and Sharon Peterson; devoted sons, Carl Askiew (Siobhan), Stanley Askiew and Marvin Askiew (Elvelyn); devoted granddaugh- ters, Felicia Jones (Terry, Sr.), Kimberly Askiew McNeal, Shan- borya Abua Sailor (Ladeitriech); devoted grandsons, Carl Askiew, Sr. and Kelvin Askiew, Sr.; de- voted sister, Pearlie Mae Bouie of Chattahoochee, Florida; de- voted friends, Martha Thomp- son, Rev. Joseph Reed, Betty Wilcox, Hires Family, Anderson and Cruse family and a host of many other relatives and friends.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, June22nd from5to7p.m.The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p. m.
The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.

A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Roger Conyer, 63, of Tampa, Florida, who transitioned on Tuesday, June 12, 2018, will be held Saturday, June 23rd at 2 p. m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Rev. Patricia Hauser, offi- ciating.
He leaves to cherish his pre- cious memories with: son, Joshua Conyer of St. Petersburg, Florida; and daughter, Shelina Conyer of Tallahassee, Florida; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home from 1 p. m. to 2 p. m. prior to the service on Saturday.
The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the services.

MS. SHARI LATOYA REYNOLDS
A Memorial Service for Ms. Shari Latoya Reynolds, who passed away June 12, 2018, will be held Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 2 p. m. at Harmon Funeral Home, 5002 N. 40th St., Tampa, FL 33610.
Shari Latoya Reynolds was born March 23, 1986, in Staten Island, NY. She moved with her family to Florida at a very young age. She attended schools in the Hillsborough County Public School Systems. Shari attended Hillsborough Community Col- lege and was one semester away from receiving her Associates Degree in Counseling when her illness progressed, and she was no longer able to finish.
Although Shari has been pre- sented with different obstacles surrounding her illness, she was able to obtain a certificate as a nail manicurist.
Shari was preceded in death by: her father, Mr. Willie C. Reynolds, whom she loved dearly until his demise; mater- nal grandmother, Mrs. Doris Hayes-Nottingham (Giles Not- tingham); great aunts, Catherine Wright, Willie Beatrice Frasier (Roosevelt Frasier); devoted uncle, Sydney Hayes (Tawanna); cousins, Paul Williams, Jr. and Toby Thomas.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her loving mother, who remained at her side during her declining health, Deborah Denise Reynolds; two sisters and one step-sister, Essence Necleka Whitfield (Min. David), Tairoa Lakeshia Reynolds and Miracle Reynolds; nieces and nephews, Jeremiah Antwan Waters (Amanda), Jamirah D. Waters, Jada Roberta Waters, Dakayla Alexis Whitfield and Joshua Daniel Whitfield; great-niece, Kehlali Rose Waters; aunts and uncles, Cynthia L. Gilyard (Eu- gene), Norman Bacon (Sandra), and Sandra Hayes Nichols; great aunt, Alean Engram; close cousins, Tanya Thomas- Williams (Min. Harold), Tangie L. MR. LUTHER LEE ROGERS, SR.
A Celebration of Life Service for Luther Lee Rogers, Sr., who passed away June 18, 2018, will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018, at 1 p. m. at New Greater Friendship M. B. Church, Rev. Ronnie Murray, Sr, Pastor, Pas- tor Louise Gentle, Eulogist. In- terment will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park, 4615 E Hanna Ave., Tampa, FL 33610.
Luther Rogers was born on March 25, 1931 in Lithia, FL to Enoch and Annie Rogers. He was educated in the Hillsborough County Schools. Luther was bap- tized at New Salem Primitive Baptist Church in 1962. He was employed at Gardnier/Cargill for 34 1/2 years and retired as the General Foreman. After retire- ment, he worked part-time for the City of Tampa Sports Author- ity and supervised a summer youth program at Cargill for sev- eral years.
Luther was a sports enthusi- ast, known as “Slapper” at Rogers Park Golf Course for his awesome swing. He enjoyed playing baseball, golf and coached little league baseball for 17 years. He attended New Greater Friendship M. B. Church until his health deteriorated.
He was preceded in death by: parents, Enoch and Annie Rogers; wife, Geraldine Taylor Rogers; daughter, Constance Rogers Nelson; son, Lorenzo Rogers; siblings Algerthia Rogers, Dorothy Little, Enoch Rogers, Robert Rogers, Shelton Rogers, Leroy Rogers, and Ira Rogers; son-in-law, James Toombs.
He leaves to cherish his memories; daughters: Deborah (Rufus), Geraldine Loretta and Miriam (Robert); sons, Anthony and Luther, Jr. (Cassandra); grandchildren, Kenyatta (Ter- rance), Willie, Carol, Marvin, Ronald (Jennifer), Ashley, Kianna, Daniel, Alesia; great- grandchildren Caiden, Terrina, Jelani, Jaylon and Cheo; sister, Louise; sisters-in-law, Dorothy (Charlie), Margaret and Lois; brother-in-law, Jerome (Inez); son-in-law, Melvin; and numer- ous nieces and nephews; special friends, Minnie James Boyd, Daniel Hoyt, Pastor Shelly Truss, the Rahman, Simmons and Watts families.

Oran St., Tampa, FL, 33610, Pastor Lucy M. Walker-Jordan, Bishop John Battles, officiat- ing. Interment will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park, 4615 E. Hanna Ave, Tampa, FL 33610.
LaSonia Walker was a na- tive of Tampa for 39 years. She graduated from Hillsborough High School Class of 1997. She was a faithful member of St. Peter’s Apostolic Church for many years until she moved her membership to Interna- tional Harvest Church of God, under the leadership of Pastor Degrando Franks. Later she joined St. John Progressive Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Bartholomew Banks. She was a faithful youth teacher and she sang in three choruses.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Morlene Walker and William Lanier; grandparents, Mattie Bradley, Marvin L. Walker and Lorenzo Bradley; great grandparents, Cassie Truss, Lucy Hare and Thomas Hare, Sr.; aunts: Beatrice Hare, Ophelia Fisher and Jacqueline P. Walker; un- cles: Marvin Walker, Jr., Wal- ter, Melvin, L. C. Thomas, Jr., Willie Bee, Robert, Lewis, Jore Hare, Johnny Jefferson and Joseph Walker; cousins, Diann Hare, Bernard Snead, III and Bridget Moore.
