Michael Jordan Will Not Do A Deal For Less Than $10 Million
According to Michael Jor- dan’s advisor, he will not do business unless there is $10 million or more involved.
Estee Portnoy testified last Friday (Aug. 14) that unless you got a deal that’s ultimately worth at least $10 million, Jor- dan won’t do business with you.
The revelation was made in a court case involving a lawsuit Jordan filed against a grocery chain for using his likeness without permission.
Court documents revealed earlier this week that the NBA icon protects the value on his brand by not selling his image rights and endorsements for a single use. Instead, Portnoy revealed the combo is sold as a “bundled” package.

value to his brand” is another thing Portnoy mentioned.
Citing The Chicago Tribune, CBS Sports noted the docu- ments for stating that Jordan made over a half-billion dollars off endorsements alone be- tween 2000 and 2012.
Ciara and Russell Wilson were spotted at the Seattle Storm vs. San Antonio Stars game last night.
Pop starlet Ciara is currently in Seattle with her boo Russell Wilson. Tuesday night, they watched the San Antonio Stars battle the Seattle Storm.......and the Storm won (72-63). But Cici and Russell weren't alone in their courtside seats. The couple was joined by Anna Wilson (Russell’s sis- ter), and his Mom. And from the looks of their body lan- guage, the Wilsons seem to really like Ciara. Hmmm....we wonder if Mama Wilson is ready for a new daughter-in- law?
In other Ciara tidbits, the "Dance Like We’re Making Love" singer chatted it up with radio personality Sway re- cently, and he asked about ab- stinence with respect to Russell Wilson. He joked, “When Russell sees that video, are you giving him any idea of what it’s gonna be like?”
Ciara responded, “You’re putting me on blast right now. We definitely should dance like we’re making love, and we should, yeah, whenever the time comes.”
Kenmore football coach Marty Micale tears up over his team's new uniforms, courtesy of the LeBron James Family Foundation.
CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Le- Bron James' latest uniform drop fell to the Kenmore High School football team.
James, through his LeBron James Family Foundation, often outfits needy school and youth sports programs in new uni- forms, made by his corporate partner Nike.
Sparkling helmets and shiny new threads went to the Cardi- nals on Tuesday night during an emotional drop at the Univer- sity of Akron, when a chopper carrying the goods landed on campus as the team awaited.
"This is amazing," Kenmore senior Dorell Daniels- Vaught told the Akron Beacon Journal. "It is a blessing to get something, especially with where we go to school. We really don't have too many opportuni- ties for a lot of things to happen to us. A lot of bad publicity usu- ally happens, so it is nice to have these changes and good public- ity."
James, who is overseas for his annual Asian tour with Nike, was not there for the uniform drop. But his wife, Savannah, and sons LeBron Jr. and Bryce, were on hand, and James shared a photo of the Cardinals' helmets and uni- forms on Instagram
Seahawks Begin Another Week Of Training Camp Without Kam Chancellor
The Seahawks took the field for practice 13 of training camp Monday.
They did so again without strong safety Kam Chancel- lor, whose holdout now is 18 days old, including game day and off days. Those days can apparently count toward fines the team can levy against Chancellor — he can be fined up to $30,000 a day for each day missed.
The team can now also re- coup $250,000 of Chancel- lor’s $1 million pro-rated signing bonus for this season. And they could also fine him 1/17th of his base salary for the 2015 season (which is $4.55

million). Add those up and you get just over $1.057 million that the team could now fine Chan- cellor.
However, remember that those fines are discretionary. That is just the limit that the team could fine Chancellor.
Greg Oden Signs With Jiangsu Dragons Of Chinese League
Former No. 1 overall NBA draft pick Greg Oden has signed a one-year, $1.2 million deal to play for the Jiangsu Dragons of the Chinese Bas- ketball Association, according to multiple media reports.
The 7-foot Oden, who was selected by the Portland Trail Blazers over Kevin Durant with the top pick in the 2007 draft, has been limited to 105 games due to multiple mi- crofracture knee surgeries and other issues. He last played for the Miami Heat in 2013-14, appearing in 23 games after a three-season layoff.
The 27-year-old center has averaged 8.0 points and 6.2 rebounds per game over his NBA career, during which he has made $24.4 million.
GREG ODEN
In February, Oden struck a plea deal with prosecutors to settle battery charges involv- ing a former girlfriend.
RealGM.com earlier re- ported terms of Oden's deal with the Dragons.
Glory Johnson Is Having Twins
Report: Eli Manning Seeks To Become NFL's Highest-Paid Player With New Deal
Glory Johnson shared the news with her Instagram followers.
Basketball player Glory Johnson has revealed that she is expecting twin girls, just days after her estranged wife was re- fused an annulment.
Colorado-born Johnson shared the announcement with her 54,000 Instagram follow- ers, posting a photo showing off her baby bump.
‘Blessed to be having 2 baby girls!!!’ she wrote, with the hashtag ‘#TeamBows’.
The 25-year-old married fel- low basketball player Brittney Griner in May but the pair split just 28 days later, the day after Johnson announced she was pregnant.
Griner, who plays for the Phoenix Mercury, filed for the annulment claiming that Johnson had cheated on her by texting with an ex- boyfriend.
But Johnson insists the al- legations are not true.
Griner called the marriage ‘a huge mistake’, and insisted in a June interview with ESPN that she had felt pressured to marry Johnson.
An Arizona judge denied Griner’s request for an annul- ment at the end of July.
Johnson, who has taken a year off from basketball for the pregnancy, told TMZ Sports she was ‘thankful the annul- ment was rejected because an act of marriage did occur’.
Johnson filed documents last month asking for $20,000 a month in spousal support from Griner.
She is also asking for $10,000 for attorney fees and for Griner to continue to make car payments towards a Mer- cedes she purchased for her.
Quarterback Eli Manning, who is engaged in contract ex- tension talks with the New York Giants, is seeking to be- come the NFL's highest-paid player with his next contract, the NFL Network is reporting.
Giants owner John Mara has said that he hopes to have his franchise quarterback signed by the start of the sea- son or soon after, but the NFL Network reports a "significant gap" remains between the team and Manning in negotiations.
Manning, whose contract expires after this season, is scheduled to make $17 million in base salary this season. Aaron Rodgers' deal, which he signed two years ago, tops the market with an average an- nual value of $22 million.
ELI MANNING
In the unlikely event Man- ning and the Giants don't come to terms on a new deal, the team could use its exclusive franchise tag on Manning. That designation would pay Manning a 2016 salary of $25 million -- $3 million more than Rodgers' average annual value.
