Mrs. Mercedes Smith Nor- ton departed this earth des- tined for glory on August 2, 2015, at age 66.
Family viewing will be held Thursday, August 6, 2015, at 6 p. m. at Oldham Funeral Home, Lakeland, FL.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 7, 2015, at 12 p. m. at Oakhill Cemetery, Lakeland, FL.
Mercedes Smith Norton was born on November 30, 1948, to mother, Synie Haynes and father, Clarence Smith.
She was preceded in death by: her father, Clarence Smith; mother, Synie Haynes Smith; brother, Clarence Smith, Jr.; sister, Gloria Brown; aunt, Sally Mae Johnson; sister, Barbara Ann Bradley; and daughter, Felicia Williams.
She leaves behind to cele- brate her legacy: her loving and devoted husband, George P. Norton; daugh- ters, Lendora D. Parker and Brenda R. Williams; grand- children, Charles C. Williams, Jr., Kyle D. Parker, Kaleb L. Parker, Antonius Williams, Eric Williams, Jr., Joseph Williams and Erica Williams; great grandchil- dren, Erianna Williams, Zaniyah Parker, Xavier Williams, Kyle Parker, Jr., and Kyrie Parker; sister, Joretha Sumpter (Frankie); brother, Raymond Smith; sister, Jeanette Seabrook (North Carolina); sisters-in- law, Lottie Bexley, and Linda Norton Graham (Ronald); brother-in-law. Carl Norton (Leigh); nieces, Kathy Fai- son, Beverley Shelley, Syna Sumpter Williams (Mike), Cherry Sumpter, Mattie Robinson (John), Kokita Wilson (Oscar), and Dallas Griffin (Ty); nephews, Melvin Shelley, Arstell John- son, Joseph Brown, Jr., and Willie Edwards, Jr.; and a host of other family and friends, whose lives she has touched.
She was a woman of strong faith, offering counsel and love to all of those who wanted and needed it.
Her family was her world, as she was our world. We will miss her love, her laugh, her wisdom and her Amaz- ing cooking!
Now our heavenly father will get to enjoy all those special little things!

Mrs. Lizzie Bryant, 91, of Tampa, passed away Satur- day, August 1, 2015.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, August 8,2015,at2p.m.atMount Tabor Missionary Baptist Church, 2606 W. Grace Street, Reverend T. D. Leonard, pastor.
Mrs. Bryant was a native of Marianna, FL, and a resi- dent of Tampa for 73 years. She was educated in the pub- lic schools of Marianna, FL, and was a member of Mount Tabor Missionary Baptist Church.
Mrs. Bryant was formerly employed as a Domestic Housekeeper for the Rinaldi Family of The Rinaldi Print- ing Company and Custodian Services at MacDill Air Force Base until retirement.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her daughter, Jacquelyn; grandchildren, Dwayne, Stephen, Carol, James and wife, Gina, and Aston; great grandchildren, Terrik, Jessica, Zuri, Kala’, Gage and Jada; great great grandchildren, Landaysia, Jordin, Jala and Zuri, Jr.; and a host of other sorrow- ing relatives and friends.

Mrs. Josephine Starkes of Tampa, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2015.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, August 8, 2015, at 11 a. m. at First Baptist Church of West Tampa, 1302 N. Willow Av- enue, Reverend Rayford Harper, pastor, with Rev- erend Dr. Leon Gallon, offici- ating. Interment will follow in Orange Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Starkes was a native of Crisp County, Georgia, where she attended Crisp County Public Schools.
She was a resident of Tampa for 50 years and was formerly employed by Hills- boro Printing.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Thomas Starkes; her parents, Oretha Jones Lofton and Sammy Lofton; grandparents, Maetta and Gilbert Lofton; aunts, Ethel Lee Harris, Willie Bell Lofton and Helen Royal; and uncles, William Lofton, Benjamin Lofton and Charlie Lofton.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her stepmother, Leola Lofton of Cordele, GA; stepdaughter, Vera Mae Ship- man of Enterprise, AL; step- son, Thomas Starkes, III of Tampa; sister, Ella Mae Williams of Tampa; uncle, Curtis Lofton and wife, Ade- line; aunts, Ola B. Lofton and Mattie Pearl Daniels, both of Arabi, GA, and Barbara Lofton of Charlotte, NC; sister-in-law, Ola Bell Starkes; the Lofton, Graham, Genwright, Royal, and Harris families; and a host of other sorrowing relatives and friends.
The remains will repose Friday, August 7, 2015, from 5-7 p. m. at First Baptist Church of West Tampa, 1302 N. Willow Avenue.

MR. WILLIE C. ROBINSON, JR.
Mr. Willie C. Robinson, Jr., “Crump” of Tampa, passed away Saturday, Au- gust 1, 2015.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, August 8, 2015, at 2 p. m. at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church, 4202 W. Nassau Street, Reverend Larry Pittman, officiating.
Mr. Robinson was a life- long native of Tampa and was educated by the School District of Hillsborough County. He was formerly employed by Crown Doors and was a Brick Mason for Jesse & Sons Construction Company.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Willie C. Robinson, Sr.; grandparents, George and Annie Lou Pittman; sister, Angela Robinson Bowens Taylor; niece, Nicole Robinson; and cousin, Rawn Brown.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving mother, Virginia Pittman Robinson; brothers, Kenneth Robinson and Charles Robinson; sister, Betty Robinson Lamar and hus- band, Nathan; nieces, Tamika Bowens, BeVonna Bowens, Shaqwanna Reynolds, April Hutchins and Ashley Scott; nephews, Monte Bowens, Jr., Vashon Robinson, and Tavaris Lamar; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other rela- tives and friends too numer- ous to mention.

SISTER BERNELL BRONER BROWN
Homegoing celebration for Sister Bernell Broner Brown, who passed away on Satur- day, August 1, 2015, will be held Saturday, August 8, 2015, at St. Matthew M. B. Church, 3708 E. Lake Ave., Rev. W. D. Sims, pastor.
Mother Brown was born to the late Ralph and Essie Mae Granger in Dothan, FL. She was educated there as well, and later moved to Dade City, FL, and afterwards to Tampa.
Mother Brown was mar- ried to Willie Broner, Sr. and 6 children were born. She later married the late Deacon Peter Brown.
Sister Brown leaves a legacy of love behind in the hearts of her devoted 14 grands and 18 great grands, with a lot of singing, To God Be The Glory.
The visitation will be held at St. Matthew M. B. Church on Friday, August 7, 2015. There will be a formal wake from 6-7 p. m. Friends are asked to assemble at the church at 10:45 a. m., Satur- day for the service.
