Officers Search For Liquor Store Thieves
Detectives Ask For Help In Identifying Shoplifting Suspects
Hillsborough County Sher- iff’s Office detectives said on August 1st at 10:25 p. m., a pizza delivery driver for Pizza Pino was delivering pizza to an apartment within the Kensing- ton Gardens Apartments com- plex at 9717 Somerset Wind Drive in Riverview.
While the driver was walking up to the apartment, an un- known suspect reportedly told
him the pizza was his. A second man reportedly displayed a handgun and put it against the driver’s head. The first suspect took the driver’s wallet and they both fled behind the apartment building.
The suspects were described as Black males, 18 years old, 5’8” tall, one with red tinted hair and the other with a pot belly and clean shaven face.
This couple is suspected of stealing $3,880 worth of purses from Dillard’s Department Store.
Deputies Arrest Hit-And-Run Driver
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office reports that on July 25th at 8:24 p. m., an un- known black male and Black female entered the Dillard’s Department Store at 303 Brandon Town Center Drive.
While inside the store, de- tectives said the couple se- lected 17 Doone and Bourke purses valued at $3,880 and fled the store without paying.
The male suspect is de- scribed as 5’9” to 6’ tall, weigh-
ing between 220 and 250 pounds and the female suspect is described as 5’1” to 5’5” tall, weighing 220 to 250 pounds, and last seen wearing an or- ange shirt, white pants and carrying a large tote.
Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for in- formation that leads to the identification and arrest of the unknown suspects in this case. Anyone with information is asked to call 1-800-873-8477.
A hit and run driver was ar- rested Monday on drug and fleeing charges after leaving a couple injured and their 3- year-old child unharmed Sun- day evening in St. Petersburg.
Reginald O. Thompson, 29, was taken into custody after running from the scene, deputies said. Three passen- gers also fled in Thompson’s vehicle, a 2015 Chevrolet Im- pala and remain at large.
The crash at 30th Avenue and 46th Street sent Christo- pher and Nichole Chap- man, both 33, to a hospital with non-life threatening in- juries. Their daughter, Alexandria, was not hurt.
Deputies saw the Impala heading south on 47th Street and the driver failed to heed a stop sign while making a left turn. Deputies activated their lights and initiated a traffic stop but the driver fled.
At 6:35 p. m, the Impala went south on 46th Street, but failed to negotiate a turn and struck a vehicle driven by Christopher Chapman.
After the crash, deputies said

Thompson and his passen- gers got out of the vehicle and fled. Deputies chased them, and were able to arrest Thompson after using a stun gun.
Thompson was arrested and released after posting $19,500 bond on charges of resisting arrest without vio- lence, felony fleeing to elude, felony possession of crack co- caine, possession of hydro- morphone, possession of marijuana, driving with a sus- pended license and two counts of leaving the scene of a crash with injuries.

Suspects Sought In Robbery Of Pizza Delivery Driver
Tampa Police report that on June 11th at 7:20 p. m., three people entered the Total Wine and More Store at 1720 North Dale Mabry Highway and se- lected several bottles of alcohol.
The one male and two female suspects fled without paying for $1,200 worth of alcohol.
Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for anyone who can help identify the suspects.
