PTB MARINE PUBLIC SAFETY COMPLEX PHASE II PROJECT NO. 15-02414-02
Port Tampa Bay (PTB) is soliciting sealed bids from qualified firms or individuals interested in the demolition and disposal of the existing timber dock and piles. Dredging and disposal of less than 1,000 Cubic Yards on Island 2D or in the McKay Bay Dredge Hole. All materials and services required for the construction of three (3) new wood docks, including potable water and electric. There are three (3) bid alternates that PTB has the right to elect independently or in combination. These are the construction of a Floating Fueling Dock, a Floating Transient Dock, and a Fueling System.
Prospective bidders are required to attend BOTH THE MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE AND THE MANDATORY SITE VISIT at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, August 14, 2015 at the PTB Board Room, 1101 Channelside Drive, 1st Floor, Tampa, FL 33602.
The ITB is available through a link on the PTB’s website (www.porttb.com) and the DemandStar System (www.demandstar.com). Interested firms shall submit a completed response to Port Tampa Bay, 1101 Channelside Drive, 4th Floor, Tampa, FL 33602. Sealed Bids are due by Thursday, September 3, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at which time all bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud.
PTB encourages the use of registered Small Business Enterprise (SBE) firms to the greatest extent possible on PTB projects and has a goal of nine percent (9%) SBE participation. PTB will consider SBE participation when evaluating the bids.
