One Suspect Caught, Second Being Sought After Pursuit
Alligator Attacks
Attempted Murder Suspect In Custody
Early Friday morning, Tampa Police were monitoring a large concert at the D3/Un- derground Nightclub in down- town Tampa.
During their surveillance, uniformed and undercover of- ficers came across a vehicle that had been confirmed as stolen from St. Petersburg.
As officers moved in to ar- rested the people inside the stolen car, they said it jumped the curb in front of them and fled north on I-275.
A pursuit was initiated that led Tampa officers into St. Pe- tersburg. The pursuit ended on 54th Avenue, South at the Enclave Apartments.

The Pinellas Park Police De- partment reported that on July 12th, Glen Franklin Neal, Jr. was arrested after being sought for attempted murder.
On July 5th, investigators responded to All Children’s Hospital after reports that an 11-month-old boy had been admitted to the hospital with a severe head injury. Through the investigation, probable cause was established for the arrest of Neal.
Investigators were able to determine that Neal kicked, punched, and bit the child re- sulting in the head trauma. The child is reported to be in serious condition with bleed- ing on his brain.

was arrested after he fled from the stolen car. The second sus- pect is still being sought.
No one was injured during the pursuit, and the investiga- tion is ongoing.
At 7 p. m. Sunday, Tampa Po- lice dispatch received a call from witnesses that a woman was in the river near the damn at Rowlett Park and yelling about an alligator.
When the first officer arrived, he reported seeing the woman in the water and he needed more units to the west side of the damn. Two additional offi- cers arrived and met Natasha Lee, 29, on a small island in the river.
Lee told the officers that her dog named Haze had chased a bird into the river and a large al- ligator had attacked the dog, dragging him underwater.
Additional units arrived and provided cover to help Lee get back to shore.
Police said they were unable to locate Haze or the alligator.

The offensive line coach for the Buffalo Bills, Aaron Kromer, was arrested Sun- day in Florida after he al- legedly shoved a boy to the ground and punched him, po- lice said.
The Walton County Sher- iff’s Office said the dispute started after Kromer and his son confronted three boys about their use of beach chairs while fishing near their home. In a statement, Kromer re- portedly grabbed the fishing pole from the boy and threw it in the water before assaulting one of the boys.
The victim told police Kromer told him if he re- ported the incident to police, he would kill his family, deputies said.
Kromer, 48, was arrested 2 a. m. Sunday and released on bond an hour later. He was

In Winter Park, a man who allegedly stabbed an elderly woman and tried to smother her inside her house Saturday has turned himself in, accord- ing to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
On Saturday, a manhunt began for Douglas Reed after the incident on Crane Strand Drive. Deputies re- ceived a call after noon regard- ing an elderly woman who was stabbed by a man who cut her neck or throat and tired to smother her.
The victim ran from the house, screamed and a neigh- bor helped her, deputies said. Deputies asked Reed to leave the house and surrender, but did not get a reply. A SWAT

Kromer joined the team in January after being fired from the Chicago Bears. He was for- merly an assistant coach with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers under Jon Gruden.
During the closing time for the Ybor City Parking Garage at 2:45 a. m. Saturday, Tampa po- lice received a call that a man was lying on the ground uncon- scious near the corner of 15th Street and 5th Avenue.
As officers arrived, they found Timothy Glass, 21, lying face down. He was pronounced dead at that location.
The preliminary investigation has revealed that Glass acci- dentally fell from the top floor of the parking garage. No foul play is suspect, and no witnesses have been located.
Person Of Interest Turns Himself In

St. Petersburg Police detec- tives are investigating a pattern of armed robberies where a man armed with a shotgun has robbed three businesses, one of them twice.
Jerrod Antwan Taylor was identified as a person of interest and police said he turned him- self in at noon Saturday. He is being questioned as a person of interest in the armed robberies, and was charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Robbery Suspect Arrested
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Sunday at 5:50 a. m., detec- tives went to the Circle K Store at 14517 North Nebraska Av- enue on a robbery complaint.
When deputies arrived, they found out that a Hispanic male had entered the store, ap- proached the clerk who was behind the counter, and de- manded money by threatening to hurt her, implying he had a weapon.
After getting money from the clerk, the suspect fled, and he was tracked to the Village of Tampa Mobile Home Park.
Detectives reviewed the sur- veillance footage, then went back into the mobile home park, showing the picture of the suspect to several resi- dents, who said he is regularly seen in the park near the en-

trance, but no one had a spe- cific address.
Detectives later stopped a man on a pedestrian violation, and discovered he was the sus- pect from the robbery.
David Anthony Dade, 27, was arrested and charged with robbery and possession of co- caine.
