   Armed Suspect Robs Tampa Motel
Police Search For Shoplifting Suspect
  Early Monday, an armed suspect entered a local hotel and robbed it at gunpoint. The robbery took place shortly after 4:30 a.m.
According to the Tampa Police Department, the unidentified suspect walked into the Days Inn, 2905 N. 50th Street, and demanded money from the night clerk at

gunpoint. The clerk complied and the suspect fled the scene with cash and property taken from the hotel.

       Juvenile Arrested For Attempted Robbery
 A 17-year-old was taken into custody and charged after he allegedly attempted to rob another student. The incident took place last Fri- day morning.
According to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, two 15-year-old students were at the Italian Ice, 13147 86th Avenue, in Seminole, shortly before 8:30 a.m. when an- other teenager attempted to rob the male student at gun- point.
Police responded to the location after the owner noti- fied them of hearing a gun- shot and observing three teenagers running away. When deputies arrived, they located the 17-year-old and

the 15-year-old girl. They later identified and located the 15-year-old victim.
During the course of the
investigation, police learned that Rey Alejandro Romero and the other two teenagers were congregating at a nearby business. At some point, Romero is alleged to have taken out a gun, pointed it at the other male, and de- manded that he give him all of his belongings.
The victim refused and Romero is alleged to have pointed the gun at the ground and fired one round from it in an attempt to scare the vic- tim. All three suspects then fled the scene.
Romero was arrested and charged with attempted armed robbery and discharg- ing a firearm. No injuries were reported to police.
   SHOPLIFTING SUSPECT SHOPLIFTING SUSPECT October 20 November 17
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is currently searching for a suspect in- volving in two separate shoplifting incidents. Both in- cidents took place at Walmart Stores.
According to police, the first incident took place on October 20th at the Walmart, 4928 Highway 674, in Wimauma. The man is sus- pected of shoplifting a Hewlett Packard computer and Samsung high-definition television on October 20th. He reportedly fled the scene in a silver, unknown make and model sedan. Another man was driving the vehicle.
On November 17th, the man reportedly attempted to leave the same Walmart with- out paying for a 55-inch
Philips 4K high definition tel- evision. However, store secu- rity confronted him and he dropped the property and ran. This time, he fled in a black Ford Edge.
Later on the same day, the man entered the Walmart at 9205 Gibsonton Drive. He again attempted to leave without paying for a 49-inch LG Ultra high definition tele- vision. Once again, store se- curity confronted him and he dropped the property and ran and fled the scene in the black Ford Edge.

  Police Investigate Shooting That Left Man Dead
 The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office is investigat- ing a shooting that left one man dead. The shooting took place early Monday.
According to police, deputies responded to 12211 Villa Road, in Spring Hill, after receiving 9-1-1 reports
of shots being fired. When they arrived, they discovered a man, later identified as Brad Anthony Scott, near the front door and kitchen window area. Scott was pro- nounced dead at the scene.
Police said Joseph and Karen Correa were inside
the residence and one of them shot 28-year-old Scott in fear of their own personal safety.
No additional informa- tion was released and no charges had been filed at press time. The investigation is continuing.
