Police Investigating Shooting
Arrest Made In Theft Of Flat Screen Televisions

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office reports that on March 26th at 2:24 a. m., a man entered the Walmart at 1208 East Brandon Boulevard, selected two 43” flat screen tel- evisions, and left the store without paying for them. He then fled in a small red vehicle.
The suspect was later iden- tified from his surveillance photo, and deputies arrested Lindsey Jackson, 36, and charged him with grand theft.

Tampa Police are investi- gating a shooting Monday that took place near the 1700 block of East Mulberry Drive.
Police said the victim, later identified as 24-year-old An- tonio Flowers, walked up to someone in the neighborhood and said he had been shot. Officers responded to the scene, along with paramedics, and Flowers was trans- ported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

suspect in the case and deter- mine what lead up to the shooting.
St. Petersburg Police re- ported that one woman was killed, and her sister inured in a car crash that police believe was delliberate. They say it was intentionally caused by another vehicle.
Detectives are investigat- ing the death of 40-year-old April Morrow, who died from injuries in the crash that happened at 3:20 a.m. at 16th Avenue, South and Martin Luther King Street, South. Her 37-year-old sister, Tina, was also hurt, but her injuries weren’t life threatening.
Early that morning, police were called out to a brawl at the Obama Express Food Mart, 1400 18th Avenue, South. April and Tina Mor- row were there as well.
When officers arrived, cars pulled out. But the fight ap- parently wasn’t over.
Police said the Morrow sisters got in their car and it appears someone followed them and forced them off the road and the car struck a util- ity pole. Detectives said April was a front seat passenger and Tina was in the driver’s seat.
April was transported to a local hospital, and at 11:30 a. m. was pronounced dead from her injuries.
The second vehicle left the scene after the accident, but witness statements led detec- tives to find it.
Detectives have not identi- fied the owner of the suspect vehicle, or its occupants.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office reports that on April 15th at 1:30 p.m. three people entered the “My Tobbies” store located inside of University Square Mall and removed a DJI Phantom 3 Advanced Drone, valued at $1,000.
The two female suspects distracted the store employee while the male suspect left the
store without paying for the drone, deputies said.
The suspects are described as a Black male, 18-to-24 years old with a thin build; a Black female, 20-to-30 years old with a large build, and an- other Black female, 18-to-24- years-old with a large build.

Warrant Issued For 14-Year-Old

St. Petersburg Police detec- tives investigated the homici- dal death of Maxwell Curtis Muennich, 18, that occurred Wednesday at 5:30 p.m., and have a suspect in custody.
Muennich was shot on his birthday during an alter- cation in front of his home. Muennich was transported to a local hospital where he
was pronounced dead at 9:30 p.m.
Detectives were able to identify, locate, and arrest the suspect, Christopher Scott, 17, at his residence Thursday morning without incident. He was charged with first degree murder and transported to the Pinellas County Juvenile Assessment Center.
The Winter Haven Police Department reports that a warrant has been issued for a criminal who has nine felony arrests, and is a suspect in a re- cent shooting inside of an oc- cupied dwelling.
Rosel La Michael Stephene, 14, has a history of felonies that started with grand theft auto when he was 11.
Through the investigation, witnesses identified Stephene as the shooter within the group of three juve- niles. Based on the positive identification, detectives ob- tained the warrant for his ar- rest.
The warrant for Stephene’s arrest is for

shooting into an occupied dwelling, possession of a firearm by an adjudicated felon, and possession of a firearm during the commis- sion of a felony.

With the assistance of the U. S. Marshals Task Force, St. Petersburg Police detectives arrested a man wanted for murder Monday.
Juan Carlos Jimenez, 33, was charged with the April 7th murder of Shermaun Akins, 32.
Police said the murder oc- curred at the Alta Mar at Broadwater Apartments, 3856 34th Terrace, South.
Jimenez was arrested at 9:00 p.m. Monday in the bar- rio of Campanilla, in the City of Toa Baja, Puerto Rico at the residence of a family member.
Jimenez will be extradited back to Pinellas County on a charge of first-degree murder.
