While You Are Sleeping

It seems like it was only yesterday that you were here with us. Though years have passed, we still re- member the lessons you taught, the love you shared and the way you cared.
The days seem to go so quickly before we catch our breaths another year has passed. But no matter how many years go by, you remain in our minds and close to our hearts.
We miss you dearly and words cannot express the love we feel for you. But, as we look around, we catch glimpses of you: in a newborn’s eyes, or in a toddler’s smile, a glimpse of you comes through.
God called you home to take your rest. But, while you are sleeping, your legacy lives on passing from one generation to another.
Thinking of you on this Mother’s Day and every day.
