Furious 7 - You already know what to expect from the Fast and Furious franchise. Fast cars, amazing fight scenes, pretty girls, and unbe- lievable stunts. Director James Wan put all that in this 2 hrs./20 mins. action movie and we wanted to see how the untimely and tragic death of superstar Paul Walker would end. Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his family of street racer (Paul Walker, Michelle Ro- driquez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Dwayne ‘The Rock” Johnson, and new- comer Natalie Emmanuel) have to protect themselves from Special Ops assassin (Jason Statham) who pledged vengeance for his brother, left brain dead by Dom’s crew in Part 6. Emo- tional tribute to Paul Walker at the end. Action-packed and very entertaining. Try to catch it in the IMAX theater for the sound. Made $331M U.S. / Foreign $1.1B. (Budget N/A). **** and then some.

Insurgent - The first movie ‘Divergent’ was very good and made $288M world- wide. The second Divergent series “Insurgent” stepped up the action. Beatrice Prior (Shailene Woodley) had to fight her inner emotions and a powerful government (Kate Winslett, Jai Courtney, Mekhi Phifer), which threatened to destroy her society. She gets help from her boyfriend (Theo James) who is willing to die for her. Action-packed, and if you can, watch it in 3-D. En- joyed it! Made $126M U.S. / Foreign $146M. (Budget $110M). ****
