Police Search For Fatal Shooting Suspect
Two People Injured By Gunfire At
Drug Dealers Charged In Double Fatal Overdose
       A man was found dead in the driveway in the Harwell Es- tates Drive. He was fatally wounded by gunfire.
Two individuals were hurt by gunfire early Wednesday morning. The shooting took place at the Ava Apartments, 4902 N. MacDill Avenue.
Information about the shooting was sketchy. How- ever, the investigation is con- tinuing.
Police said the two people were rushed to St. Joseph’s Hospital and were in stable condition.
Teenager Sought On Kidnapping, Theft Charge

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a teenager who reportedly stole a car with a child inside. The incident took place Satur- day in the parking lot of a convenience store.
According to police, the black Honda Civic was parked in the lot of the 7-11 Store, 10016 McMullen Road, in Riverview around 6 p.m. An 11-year-old child was seated inside the car.
Tysean Brown, 15, is al- leged to have gotten in the ve- hicle and drove away. At one point, he is said to have struck the child, who was sitting in the backseat with his fist.
Brown eventually stopped at the corner of Boyette Farms Drive and Boyette Road, where he al- lowed the child to exit the ve- hicle. He then continued on in the vehicle, police said.

Detectives have arrested two people and charged them in a fatal drug over- dose. The overdose took place last August, 11th.
According to the Hills- borough County Sheriff’s Of- fice, deputies responded to the Windwood Oaks Drive in reference to a suspected dou- ble fatal overdose. The two people, one an adult woman in her 40s and her boyfriend, an adult in his 30s, were dead inside the apartment.
The Hillsborough County Medical Examiner’s Office ruled the death of the woman as fentanyl intoxica- tion. The man’s cause of death was ruled fentanyl/ethanol intoxica- tion.

identify the source of the drug supply, linking the transactions to 50-year-old Jose Marti.
Undercover detectives at- tempted to purchase the drugs with the deceased woman’s cell phone. This led them to 42-year-old Chris- tine Hanna.
The transaction was made and both were ar- rested. Police said a traffick- ing amount of both fentanyl and crystal meth was found in their vehicle.
Marti reportedly told police that Hanna was his source and she is alleged to have admitted to supplying the drugs. Both were taken into custody and charged with two counts of first-de- gree murder.
Detectives are currently investigating a fatal shooting. The incident took place Tues- day night in Dover.
According to the Hillsbor- ough County Sheriff’s Office, around 10:40 p.m., Tuesday, deputies responded to the Harwell Estates Drive, in Dover. They had received nu- merous calls of shots being fired.
When deputies arrived, they discovered a Black man
dead in a driveway. Police said the shooting does not ap- pear to be a random act of vi- olence.
The investigation is con- tinuing and no additional in- formation was available at press time.

    Woman Jailed For Making Threats At Courthouse
A 32-year-old woman has been taken into custody. She is accused of making threats against the Hillsborough County Courthouse.
According to police, on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, shortly before 11 a.m., Ms. Dianna Mervil is al- leged to have called 9-1-1 and told the dispatcher a “device” had been placed in the court- house. Police said she made the threat because her brother’s brother-in-law had been given four life sen- tences.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office Bomb Squad, K-9 deputies, and patrol deputies were dispatched to the courthouse. About 30 minutes after the first call, a second 9-1-1 call was made with the Tampa Police De-

The suspect was located
outside the courthouse. After being located, she allegedly admitted to having made the calls. She was charged with misuse of wireless 9-1-1 sys- tem and false report of a bomb, explosive or weapon of mass destruction.
