LITTLE NOVA JA’HENE THOMAS
A service to remember the life of Nova Ja’Hene Thomas, who passed away on April 18, 2022, will be held Saturday, April 30, 2022, at 1 p. m., at Allen Temple AME Church, 2101 Lowe Street, Tampa, Florida 33605, with Pastor Glenn B. Dames, officiating. Interment will follow in Orange Hill Ceme- tery.
Nova J. Thomas was born premature in Tampa on October 18, 2017. She was very affection- ate and full of life. Nova could dance before she could walk. She loved making Tic Tok videos. Her favorite movie was “Haunted House.”
Nova was a student at Next Generation Kids Day Care and Kinder Care.
She was preceded in death by: her sister, Myla Presley and uncle, Larry D. Williams.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her mother, Nayashia C. Williams; 1 brother, Christo- pher Ryan Javon Jame, Jr.; sis- ter Nyari London Crouch; grandfather, Bobby Pierson; grandmother Diana Williams (Clarence); extended siblings, Daveon, Dashaun and Jeremiah Crouch; 2 sisters, Jah’zara Till- man and Jahmiya Bynum; aunts, Natalie Denson, Cosbia Crouch and Tanisha Williams; uncles, Barry M. Visitation for Nova Na’Jhene Thomas will be held this Friday evening from 5 p. m. until 7 p. m. at Allen Temple AME Church. Friends are asked to arrive at 12:45 p. m. on Saturday for the homegoing celebration. A facial covering protection face mask is required to attend.

MRS. VALARIE DENISE THORNTON- WILSON
A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Valarie Denise Thorn- ton-Wilson, of Tampa, FL, who passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2022, will be held on Tuesday, May 3rd, 11 a. m., at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Rev. Ronald Demerson, officiating. The interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Valarie was born on Febru- ary 7, 1958, to Columbus and Willie Mae Thornton. She was educated in the school system of Hillsborough County, and a graduate of Hillsborough Com- munity College. She enjoyed an extended career at Bank of America as a seasoned sup- porter of the Tampa Bay Bucs, Devil Rays and the New York Yankees.
She departed this life on the same day that the sun set on her only child, Marcus (April 23, 1999). She was preceded in death by her son, Marcus Tavares Wilson; her parents, Columbus and Willie Mae Thornton; uncles, Nathaniel Thornton, Alfonso Thornton, Sr., and Kenneth J. Thornton, Sr.; sisters, Arletha Thornton, and Delores Thornton Demer-

The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Tues- day, May 3rd, from 10 to 11 a. m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home on Tuesday for the service. The repast will immediately follow the interment. We are following CDC guidelines. “Aikens Funeral Home”
MRS. SHAVON ALICIA OLIVER
A visitation for Mrs. Shavon Alicia Oliver, who passed away on April 14, 2022, will be held this Thursday evening April 28, 2022, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., at Harmon Funeral Home, 5002 North 40th Street, Tampa, Florida, 33610. The Interment will be on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at 2 p.m. in New Antioch AME Church Cemetery Madison, Florida with Harmon Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Shavon Alicia Oliver born January 9, 1965, in Talla- hassee, Florida.
As a girl, Shavon and her parents moved to Tampa. Shavon grew up in Progress Village and attended high school at Tampa Bay Voca- tional Technical High School. She later married and had four children. Shavon was such a nice, kind person. She was so very loving, a great cousin, and a loving mom. A friend of many. She loved fashion. She will be sorely missed.
Shavon was preceded in death by: Willie Dampier, grandfather; Alma Dampkin, grandmother; Dorothy Milton, mother.
She leaves to cherish her memories: dad Jarfus Milton; sons, Johnny Beasley, Willie Beasley, Richard Jones; daughter ShaNaé Cogmon; granddaughters, Malasia Jones, Coryne C. Cogmon; aunts, Flossie Pridgeon, Daisy Bolden, Joyce Coefield, Wanda Shelton; uncles, Willie P. Dampiér, David Milton, Hagen Milton and a host of loving cousins, nieces nephews and friends.

A Homegoing Visitation for Mr. Christopher D. Harris, of Tampa, FL., who passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, will be held on Friday, April 29th, 4:00 p.m., at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd.
Christopher, affectionately nicknamed “Chris,” was born on April 22, 1984, in Tampa, Florida, to Kimerly L. Harris. His favorite activity was creat- ing music, rapping, and spend- ing quality time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by: his mother, Kimerly L. Har- ris; and grandfather, Joseph L. Harris.
He leaves precious memo- ries with: his grandmother, Daizell Harris; aunt, Robin M. Harris; uncle, Howard T. Harris (Norma Jean); and a host of cousins.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Fri- day, April 29, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.

MRS. CRESSIE MAE PHILLIPS- MARCHMAN
A Celebration of Life Serv- ice for Mrs. Cressie Mae Phillips-Marchman, who passed away April 17th, will be held Saturday, April 30th, at 2 p.m., at Harmon Funeral Chapel, with Apostle Tony Woods, Eulogist. Interment will take place at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Cressie Mae Phillips- Marchman was born October 16, 1934, in Dodge County, GA, to the late Jeff and Arlena Phillips. She attended public schools in Dodge County, GA.
She was married to the late James Otis Marchman and was a housewife. She then relo- cated to Tampa.
Cressie Mae was preceded in death by: one son, Wilbert Marchman, and one grandson, Harold Marchman.
