Mt. Tabor M. B. Church Celebrates 94th Church Anniversary
West Tampa’s Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church, Pastor T. D. Leonard, Sen- ior Pastor, observed its 94th Church Anniversary last month with the culminating service at 4 p. m. on Sunday, September 18, 2016. The guest church was Spring Hill Mis- sionary Baptist Church of Gainesville, whose pastor is Tampa native Rev. Adrian Taylor. (Photos by Freder- ick Harris)
Helen Thompson sang the welcome address. She was as- sisted by Rose Garrett on the keyboard.
Vern Garrett gave the occa- sion and history of Mt. Tabor MB Church. Deacon Joseph Cox gave the financial report.
Some of Spring Hill MB Church’s choir: Di’Jon Washington, Nick Davis, James Louis, Judith Polynice and Tommy Polynice.
The Anniversary Chairper- sons for the 94th celebration were Estella Davenport and Evelyn Davenport Bethune.

Connie Cross and Demetrius Jenkins, Jr. were amongst the many members and worshippers at Mt. Tabor.
