Sony Chairman Tom Rothman Hints That Bad Boys 4 Will Continue As Planned
Idris Elba Reveals Michael
According to The Holly- wood Reporter, Will Smith had already received 40 pages of the script for "Bad Boys 4" before the Slap, and the film was con- sidered to be in active devel- opment. Directly after the incident, THR sources indi- cated that a pause seemed likely. However, in the months since the Oscars, we haven't heard much about the planned project.
In a new interview with
Deadline, Sony Pictures En- tertainment's Motion Pic- ture Group Chairman Tom Rothman appeared to con- firm that things are still moving forward. In fact, Rothman dismissed THR's previous report. "That was inaccurate," Rothman said. "That movie's been in development and still is. There weren't any brakes to pump because the car wasn't moving."
To Play Him In A Biopic
  BAD BOYS MOVIE
One of the most legendary characters in the world of sports is Chicago Bulls icon Michael Jordan.
Jordan, who dominated the NBA during the 1990s, has lived a big life both on and off the court. Given that fact, it wouldn’t be much of a shock to find out that a lot of movie stars in Hollywood would love to play the role of Jordan in a biopic.
According to English movie star Idris Elba, he requested to play Jordan in a movie, but the six-time NBA champ re- jected the request.
Elba recently appeared on an episode of Complex’s “Sneaker Shopping” and re- vealed that he spoke with Jordan about potentially playing him in a movie.

Nick Cannon On YSL Indictment: 'The System Isn't Designed For Us'
IDRIS ELBA
“I even said to him one time, ‘I want to play you,'” Elba told host Joe La Puma. “He was like, ‘Hm, I’m not ready yet.’ That’s what he said, ‘I’m not ready yet.’ ... I was dead serious.”
Nick Cannon is opening up about the YSL indict- ment.
Just two weeks after Young Thug, Gunna, and YSL were hit with Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Or- ganizations (RICO) Act charges, Cannon spoke with HotNewHipHop about the implications of all that’s gone down in the “heart- breaking” case. As he ex- plains, nobody deserves to

“live in a box.”
“Those brothers, one thing
we’ve seen of them is their love for their people and their love for their commu- nity,” Cannon shared. “For someone to try to come after them because they feel like they’re ‘organized,’ you know what I mean? That shows that the system isn’t de- signed for us. The system isn’t for us. Ultimately, the truth will prevail."
Gunna Denied Bond For RICO Charge, Judge Delays Decision On Young Thug's Bond
FULTON COUNTY, Ga. - A Fulton County judge has denied Atlanta rapper Gunna bond for a RICO charge at an arraignment hearing Monday morning. The judge said he is putting off the decision on whether to provide bond for rapper Young Thug until June 2, while he resolves a conflict of interest issue.
The rapper, whose real name is Sergio Kitchens, was booked into a jail in At- lantaonMay11aspartofa sweeping gang indictment that also named 27 other people, including fellow At- lanta rapper Young Thug. Fulton County prosecutors allege those named in the in- dictment are members of the

gang, which has engaged in criminal activity in the city since 2012.
On a Zoom video shown in court, Gunna pleaded not guilty to one charge of violat- ing Georgia's anti-racketeer- ing law.
Fulton County prosecu- tors, however, allege the YSL group that Kitchens was a part in engaged in criminal activity in the city for a decade. All defendants named in the indictment have been charged with vio- lating the RICO act.
