NAACP ACT-SO Program Presents Youth Leadership Luncheon
On January 17th at the A. Leon Lowry Education Center at Beulah Baptist Institutional Church, the Hillsborough County Branch NAACP’s ACT-SO Program, in partnership with the MLK Day Of Service Project, presented their first annual “Disciples of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.” Leadership Luncheon. Maurice J. Jackson chaired the event, and Pat Spencer was co-chair.
Keynote speaker was Mr. George Robinson, and the event was attended by middle and high school students, college students, ACTO-SO alumni, parents/grand- parents, pastors, teachers, volunteers, elected officials and community leaders. (PHOTOS BY SYLVESTER HARRIS)
