Chris Brown’s New Album #3 On Charts; Certified Gold
Kendrick Lamar And Eminem Win At European MTV Awards
Kendrick Lamar and Eminem.
A couple of weeks ago, Chris Brown expressed frus- tration that SoundScan was only counting three days worth of sales for his Heartbreak on a Full Moon it its first week of release.
The shortened tally was the result of Brown dropping the album on a Tuesday, as op- posed to the traditional Friday.
"So I’m hearing that I will only be credited for 3 days of sales for my first week. DONT UNDERSTAND how that is,"
Chris Brown released his 8th album, a 45-song project that has now been certified gold.
wrote CB on Instagram.
Heartbreak on a Full Moon debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200 chart with 68,000 units. The follow-up week - a full seven days - saw the LP collect another 73,000 units to hold on to third place.
Brown's 45-track collec- tion opened in the lead posi- tion on the Top R&B Albums chart and Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. The project has already been certified Gold by the RIAA.
It was a good night for Af- termath Entertainment at the 2017 MTV European Music Awards. Both Kendrick Lamar and Eminem were honored at the ceremony in London.
Kendrick's "Humble" won the award for "Best Video," and Em was named "Best Hip Hop." Slim Shady also performed his new single "Walk On Water" at the event.

On Saturday (Nov. 11) Tyrese took to social media once again to apologize for his behavior and say that while he was admittedly stressed about the situation surrounding his daughter, it was the medica- tion prescribed by a psychia- trist that caused his public meltdown.
Post Malone's "Rockstar" featuring 21 Savage spends its 4th week atop the Hot 100. The collaboration has offi- cially held the most weeks at #1 for a rap song in 2017.
"Rockstar" surpasses Migos and Lil Uzi Vert's "Bad and Boujee" as well as Cardi B's "Bodak Yellow." Both of those singles led the Billboard chart for three weeks.
