Volunteers Needed Progress Village Community Garden
Please come out and help us install new tarps at our award winning community garden. Join us on Tuesday, July 25th, 8:30 a. m. – 11:30 a. m. at the garden. To con- firm your attendance or ask questions please contact Linda Washington (813) 741-3604.
The garden has served as a local food source for resi- dents, a recreational outlet for seniors and a focal point for community building in the neighborhood.

Reading With The Rays
Pick up a game card at your library and keep track of the hours you read. Read your way around the bases, bring the game card to any library and receive prizes from the Rays. Read 24 hours total to make it to home plate and receive TWO free tickets to a Rays game! Students K-12
How to Play
The rules of the game are simple. Choose your favorite books from your local library or your favorite section of the Tampa Bay Times to read over the summer. As you read, track your hours by rounding the bases and collect Rays prizes along the way.
When you read enough hours to get on first base, ask your parent or guardian to initial your card and bring it to your local library. The librarian will sign your card, put a sticker on the base, and give you a reading reward. Round the bases by reading a total of 24 hours this summer and receive two tickets to a Rays game!
