 Deirdra Sanders-Burnett, Ph.D., Received An Award
Civic Leader Honored
   Polk County, Florida resident, Deirdra Sanders-Burnett, Ph.D., LMHC, was elected as the 2022-2023 President-Elect for The American Mental Health Counselors Associa- tion (AMHCA). Dr. Sanders-Burnett also re- ceived the American Mental Health Counselors Associa- tion's Counselor Educator of the Year Award on June 25, 2022, during AMHCA's annual conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Ameri- can Mental Health Coun- selors Association is the only organization in the na- tion exclusively represent- ing Clinical Mental Health Counselors.
