   Omega Psi Phi Offering Scholarships To Local Male Students

The brothers of Pi Iota Chapter, Omega Psi Phi, In- corporated are sponsoring scholarships for young men in Hillsborough County.
Omega Psi Phi Frater- nity is a predominately African American organiza- tion founded at Howard University in 1911.
The Pi Iota Chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Frater- nity, Inc. will award scholar- ships to selected applicants who satisfy the eligibility re- quirements established by the chapter. The scholar- ships are funded by the Pi Iota Education Foundation,
Inc., a 501C3 Corporation. The fraternity will award scholarships totaling $20,000. There will be two $5,000 scholarships and four $2,500 scholarships.
Scholarships are available for 2022 male graduating seniors.
African American young men are encouraged to apply. The application dead-
line is April 22, 2022.
To be eligible, young men
must be graduating from an accredited school in Hills- borough County. The appli- cant must have a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
All graduation require- ments must be completed before graduation day. Fol- lowing graduation, they must enroll as a full-time student at an accredited in- stitution of higher learning. All applications are subject to verification. A personal interview must take place.
