The Hunger Games: Mockingjay-Pt. 2 - As the War escalates to the destruc- tion of other districts by the Capital, Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) must bring together an Army against President Snow (Donald Sutherland). A serious upgrade of action un- like Part 1. Must-see for Hunger Games fans. Still No. 1 at box office. Made $198M. (Budget N/A). ****
Spectre - James Bond (Daniel Craig) goes undercover to battle a sinister organization (Spectre - Christoph Waltz), while M (Ralph Fiennes) fights
political forces to keep the se- cret service alive. This Bond film doesn’t compare to ‘Sky- fall’ and this is the first Craig’s Bond movie his face doesn’t get bruised after all the crashes and fighting. 2 hrs. /30 mins. long. Still action-packed. The Peanuts Movie - Snoopy embarks on his great- est mission with his crew to take to the skies to pursue their enemies. Charlie Brown begins his own quest back home. Might be the best Snoopy/ Charlie Brown film. Kids will definitely like this animation. Made $116M. (Budget $99M). ****
Sicario - An FBI agent (Emily Blunt) is enlisted by an elected government Task Force (Benicio Del Toro) to help fight against the Mexican Drug Cartel. This thriller is def- initely worth-seeing. Made $46M. (Budget $30M). ****
The Last Witch Hunter - The last witch hunter (Vin Diesel) fights against the most vicious witches in history. Had potential to be a good film, but fell short big time. Elijah Woods (Frodo-Lord of the Rings) also stars. Made $26M. (Budget $90M). **
Goosebumps - A teenager (Dylan Minnette) hooks up
with the daughter (Odeya Rush) of horror author R. L. Stine (Jack Black) after the writer’s imaginary monsters are set free on the town. Defi- nitely a must-see for teens. Made $77M. (Budget $58M). ***1⁄2
Bridge Of Spies - Directed by Steven Spielberg, this film is about an American lawyer (Tom Hanks) who is recruited by his law firm and the CIA during the Cold War to help rescue a pilot and student in the Soviet Union. This movie was well-written, but moved real slow in action. If you like Tom Hanks, go see. If not, wait for DVD. Made $67M. (Budget $40M). ***
The Martian - After a re- search mission on Mars (which takes 4 years to get there), As- tronaut Mark Watney (Matt Damon) is presumed dead by his crew after a fierce sand storm. The crew had to leave him to save themselves. Wat- ney survives and then has to rely on his wit and spirit to sur- vive on the planet without food. Well-written sci-fi thriller. Surprisingly, very good. 2 hrs. /10 mins. long. Made $218M. (Budget $108M). ****
Hotel Transylvania 2 - Dracula (voiced by Adam San- dler) and his friends try to bring out the monster in his half human grandson to keep his daughter Mavis from leav- ing the hotel. Kids will enjoy this animation. Made $167M. (Budget N/A). ***1⁄2
Everest (2015) - Based on a true story, a climbing expedi- tion (Jason Clark, Josh Broslin) is caught on Mt. Ever- est by a severe snow storm. The crew has to try all means tosurvive. Made$42M.(Bud- get $55M). ***
Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials - After having escaped the difficult Maze, the Gladers (Dylan O’Brien, Ki Hong Lee, Dexter Darden, Thomas Sanster and Kaya Scodelario) now face a new set of craziness once they flee to the desolate landscape. I thought the first movie was very good and different, but this one was more intense with non-stop action. Must-see! Made $80M. (Budget $61M). ****
Bold And The Beautiful - Deceptions are revealed. Quinn tells Thomas who she thinks would make the best wife for Wyatt. A young couple looks for answers, as one person desperately wants to be forgiven. An electrical fire starts at Forrester Creations.
Days Of Our Lives - Lani and JJ take off to search for Abigail. Car- oline has a distressing vision concerning Victor. Brady gives up every- thing for Theresa.
General Hospital - Sabrina must make a difficult choice. Anna in- vestigates an important discovery. Tracy enlists Paul’s help with the Hol- iday Gala. Liz worries that her secret will be revealed.
