For those of you who’ve never heard of Bishop Bullwinkle, first understand that he’s been involved in the entertainment industry for more than 50 years.
Constantly seeking out new ideas and instilling his own cre- ative juices, Bishop Bullwin- kle recently recorded a song that has gone viral on both Facebook and YouTube.
“Hell To The Nah Nah”
was intended to be a statement song of events in Bishop Bull- winkle’s life that were ridicu- lous, painful, hilarious, and informative.
Born Bernard Thomas, no one reflects more of what life was about during their era more than Bishop Bullwinkle.
“When I recorded this tune, it was just street talk. I did an- other song in honor of the late Trayvon Martin, and from that tune, I came up with “Hell To The Nah Nah.”
“I got the beat for the song from my brother, who is a re- tired teacher. He gave me a blues CD and I loved the beat. I

look at situations going on, and that’s what I wrote and recorded.”
Bishop Bullwinkle has be- come so popular, he’s now tour- ing, and will be doing a show in November with the legendary Betty Wright.
“Hell To The Nah Nah” has recorded 7 million hits on Facebook, and over a million on YouTube.
“I’m 68 years old, and I hope there’s still plenty ahead for me. I’m a man of strong beliefs and I stand firm on my worship and
dedication to God.
“I also take great pleasure in
being politically right and wrong at the same time, but no one can deny most of what I sing about is the truth.”
Bishop Bullwinkle has gotten good and bad responses on his tune, and he says he calls himself Bishop to get the re- spect and he feels people will listen to him and know he means business.
“It’s always important to put people around you who know more than you know. I’ve been fortunate enough to have shared the staged with some big names in the entertainment in- dustry, and I’m also creating a dance to go with the song.
“I owe a lot of thanks to Dar- ryl Underwood for helping me get my product out there, and just working with me throughout the entire process. His expertise has been invalu- able.”
Bishop Bullwinkle wants everyone to stay tuned, but he says he’s just getting started, and there will be plenty of tunes coming from the study bearing his special kind of art.
