   JACOBS
MS.JOANN PILLION GRACIA
Funeral services for Ms. Joann Pillion-Gracia wil be held on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at 11 a. m., at Exciting Faith Alive, 5705 E. 32nd Ave., Tampa, FL 33619, with Pastor Antonio Hawkins, presiding, and eulo- gist. Final interment will be at Orange Hill Cemetery.
The Wake Service will be at Exciting Faith Alive on Friday, September 4, 2020, 5-7 p. m.
Joann was born on April 14, 1953, in Dover, New Jersey to Joseph and Angelina Pillion. She left us on August 24, 2020.
Joann was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grand- mother, who loved spending time with her children, grand- children and great-grandchil- dren. She loved to have a house full of people and enjoyed cook- ing, baking, shopping and going out to eat with her friends, usu- ally to Outback. She also loved Elvis Presley and his music.
Joann was loved and will be missed very much by many fam- ily members and friends.
Joann was predeceased by: her only son, Robert Gracia; grandson, Eric Grandberry, Jr.; and 2 brothers, John and Tony Baldwin.
She leaves behind: her lov- ing partner of 44 years, Roberto; brother, Cliff Baldwin; loving daughters, Nita serrano (Angel), Angel Carrion, Marisol Thompson (Gravy), Mary Gra- cia, Rosa Gracia, Gina Gracia and Pricilla Gracia; 26 grand- children, Adhley (Fre) Alex, Manny, Erica, Resea Mae, Sher- icka, Maricka (Cedric), Ricky, Jr., Rickia (Dazha) Rena, Re- anna, Reno, Jr., Reon, Reniah, Jasmine, Giovani, Rakim, Keyshawn, Qwandarius, Jameir, Jaysean, Aaliyah, Lean- dra, Leanthony, Leandre, and Leevi. She also leaves behind: 7 great-grandchildren, Reginald, Jr., Gary, Jr. Jamiyah, Ricky, III, Kaison, Jaliek, and Chanel; as well as family friend, T. J. (“Granny Man”).

Reverend George Baker, Jr., of Tampa, passed away Friday, August 28, 2020. Funeral serv- ices will be conducted Saturday, September 5, at 11 a.m., at Taber- nacle of Praise, 9505 E. Fowler Avenue, Thonotosassa, FL with Bishop James Higgins, officiat- ing. Interment will be held Tues- day, September 8 at 11 a.m. in Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, FL 33513.

Reverend George Baker, Jr., was a native of Miami, FL and a resident of Tampa for 65 years. He was a graduate of Howard W. Blake High School, Class of 1971 and furthered his education at Grambling State University. He served in the United States Navy until his Honorable discharge.
Reverend Baker began a sec- ond career as a Customer Service Assistant with Hillsborough County Solid Waste.
Reverend Baker was a mem- ber of Tabernacle of Praise, Thonotosassa, FL.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ory: his loving wife, Dorothye Baker; two children, Briana Baker and George Baker, III; sis- ters-in-law, Rosa Williams, Ber- nice Brown, Ethel Harvey, Patricia Lee (Rev. Solman Lee), Malinda Graham of Tallahassee, FL, and Clara Graham of Gainesville, FL; cousins, Wanda Griffin of Ft. MS. VICTORINE COWINS
Victorine Ogletree Cowins, affectionately known as “Vic,” passed away Saturday, August 29, 2020. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, Septem- ber 8 at 12 Noon, at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL.

Victorine Ogletree Cowins was a native of Detroit, Michi- gan. She was the oldest of nine children born to Roosevelt and Olga Ogletree.
Her parents and brother, William Lester, preceded her in death.
Vic accepted Christ at an early age at St. Peter A.M.E. Zion Church in Hamtramck, MI. She attended the Hamtramck Public Schools System and graduated from Hamtramck Public High School.
Vic was employed at Alcoa, an aluminum factory for several years. She was united in mar- riage to the love of her life, Nolden Cowins, in a beautiful wedding ceremony at St. Peter’s.
Victorine and Nolden were business-minded and owned and
operated a dry cleaner on De- troit’s west side.
Two daughters were born from that union, Cheryl Delphine and Cynthia Maria. Vic was a de- voted wife and mother who tremendously enjoyed her fam- ily. Her husband, Nolden, pre- ceded her in death.
After moving to Detroit from Hamtramck, Vic joined the Dex- ter Avenue Baptist Church, where she was an active mem- ber. The family later moved to Southfield MI; however, she still maintained her membership at Dexter Ave. She enjoyed being a part of the senior group and maintained communication with membership throughout the years.
Later in life, she and her eld- est daughter moved to Riverview FL, where she enjoyed the milder climate.
She leaves to cherish her memory: daughters, Cheryl and Cynthia (Reginald); siblings, Roselyn Bills, Hazel O. Cowins, James Ogletree (Edith), Marian Sims, Richard Ogletree (Linda), Gerald Ogletree (Greta) and Fay Flowers (Willie); step grandchil- dren, Cherrelle, Reggie, Jr., and Jordan (a college student) and 4 (plus one on the way) great grandchildren who lovingly re- ferred to her as “Grandma Vic,” along with many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.
The remains will repose from 11 a.m. until service time Tues- day, September 8, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue.

MR. JEROBOAM PITTMAN, SR.
Mr. Jeroboam Jerome Pittman, Sr., of Tampa passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2020. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, September 3, at 2 p.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue with Pastor Geowrena Solomon, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.

Jeroboam J. Pittman, Sr., was a native of Tallahassee, FL, born to Dorothy D. Pittman-Arthur and George Pittman, Jr. The family moved to West Tampa in 1978, and he graduated from Tampa Bay Technical High School, Class of 1993.
He retired from the security in- dustry.
Mr. Pittman was preceded in death by: his grandparents, Mr. George Pittman, Sr., and Mrs. Annie Lou Pittman, Mrs. Mary Francis Shivers, Mr. Ulysses Shiv- ers and Mrs. Annie Bunche; un- cles, Edward Pittman, and Ulysses Shivers; aunts, Rethema Pittman and Annie Ree Brown.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ory: his dedicated and loving wife, Elisa Harper-Pittman; devoted son, Jeroboam, Jr; beloved par- ents, Dorothy D. Pittman-Arthur (Andrew) and George Pittman, Jr; sisters, Rethema Macon, and Sholonda Mills (Kareem); broth- ers, Ronald Pittman (Princess), George C.
