JAY-Z’s Tidal Co. Gets 3rd CEO In 2 Year History
Janet Jackson Posts Photos In Rehearsal For Upcoming Tour
Earlier this year, Janet Jackson gave birth to her first child Eissa al Mana and en- dured a divorce, but she also set out to continue the world tour she canceled back in 2016.
We all know how Janet can easily bounce back from weight gain, so the prospect of her continuing a world tour in a matter of months after giving birth seemed doable for the 51- year-old superstar. And she’s proving just how “doable” it is with a new photo she posted on Twitter Monday (Aug. 7).
“Hey u guys. I’m so excited for the State of the World Tour. We r in rehearsal mode. See u guys in 1 month!” she tweeted, along with a photo showing her

The last couple of years have been turbulent for TIDAL. The JAY-Z-owned streaming service has gone through three CEOs in a span of two years. Former Kobalt Music Group president Richard Sanders is the lat- est to take a stab at the role and has stepped in as the new CEO, according to Variety.
Sanders left Kobalt Music Group in May after leading the company for five years and was replaced by Lau- rent Hubert. Before that, he served as the President of Global Marketing for Sony

LaVar Burton Being Personally Sued Over ‘Reading Rainbow’
Rarely-seen photographs of the late Prince Rogers Nelson by Afshin Shahidi are featured in a new book “Prince: A Private View,” with a forward by none other than Beyonce Knowles- Carter.
“Truth be told, the word ‘icon’ only scratches the sur- face of what Prince was and what he remains to me,” Bey writes of the musical icon, ac- cording to EW.
The images range from in- timate to candid to staged, and many have never been seen before, the website re- ports. Shahidi, the father of “Black-ish” star Yara Shahidi and Prince’s friend of two decades, was also the only photographer to shoot the artist’s private “3121” par- ties in Los Angeles.
His photos and captions reflect their close relation- ship. Prince: A Private View is due Oct. 17.
Private photos of Prince are being released by his personal photographer, Afshin Shahidi, the father of blackish star, Yara.
Eight years after LeVar Burton tweeted his intention to revive Reading Rainbow, he’s now being personally sued for essentially hijacking the long-running PBS show that encourages people to read.
On last Friday, WNED (a public broadcaster in Buffalo, N.Y.) filed a wide-ranging lawsuit that demands among other things that Burton’s company hand over adminis- trative access to various web- sites and social media accounts.
The lawsuit also seeks to enjoin Burton from using the Reading Rainbow catch- phrase.
Although this is a new law- suit, WNED and Burton’s RRKidz have been in court with each other for more than a year over a 2011 licensing deal.
According to court papers, RRKidz obtained a license
