rity Force Assistance com- mands. Additionally, he has conducted multiple deploy- ments to Afghanistan and Kuwait.
He holds a master’s de- gree in Business and Supply Chain Management from the University of Kansas and is a certified Project Manage- ment Professional.
LTC Davis attributes his family and professional suc- cess to his faith in God. His favorite verse is Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” He be- lieves that talent and skill alone pale in comparison when the favor of God reigns upon your life.
LTC Davis says that in
the natural his favor comes from his wife, Janie,” a fashion designer, and busi- ness owner, whom he has been married to for 14 years. Together they share a son, Adrian, daughter, Alexis, and two grandsons, Jamyson and Khaden.
LTC Davis also applauds his mother, Mrs. Bobby Foxworth, father, Mr. Karl A. Davis Sr., count- less family members, and mentors for providing him with the encouragement and support to pursue his dreams. Additionally, high school organizations such as Upward Bound, ROTC, Fel- lowship of Christian Ath- letes, and football played an integral part in his leadership
and interpersonal skill devel- opment.
LTC Davis is very pas- sionate about mentorship and preparing the next gen- eration for success. His ad- vice is, “even if there are no roads to get to your destina- tion, then roll up your sleeves and build one. You will be amazed at the support you get when you operate in hu- mility and the “right” people
see you striving for excel- lence. However, once you get to the top never forget to turn around and lift those who are climbing behind you.”
In the spring of 2023, LTC Davis will take Battal- ion Command of the 20th En- gineer Battalion, 36the Engineer Brigade at Ft. Hood, TX, one of the premier and most modernized engi- neer units in the Army.
