Because He Is The Light Of The World
Lord, thank You that I don’t have to fear the darkness because even in dark times You are there. I know that if one walks in the night he stumbles because the light is not in him (John 11:10). But Your light is in me, Jesus, because You have come as a light into the world so that I don’t have to live in darkness (John 12:46). The enemy wants me to dwell in darkness, but You have given me light. I choose to walk in that light. I need no other light but Yours. Whatever is good and perfect comes from You, the creator of al light, and You will shine forever with- out change (James 1:17 TLB).
Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the LORD will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you. ISAIAH 60:1- 2
Lord, help me to trust Your light in me and in my life. I look to You to be my treas- ure in darkness. Help me always remem- ber that even when I go through the difficult and dark times in my life, You will always be there to shine Your light on my path.
The path of the just is like a shining sun, that shines ever brighter unto the perfect day. PROVERBS 4:18
Lord, You are the light of the world and I declare You to be Lord over every nation of the earth. I know Your light will always prevail. Establish Your kingdom on earth and help us, Your children, to be a people through whom Your light shines and through whom You touch the world for Your glory. May Your light in me shine through brightly to others, so ht You may be glorified.
You are the light of the world. A city that I set on a hill cannot be hidden...Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. MATTHEW 5:14,16
Lord, I thank You that You have called me out of the darkness to live in Your light, and to let Your light live in me. Shine Your light in any area of my life where I am not living Your way. I don’t want any- thing that would dim Your light on my path. I don’t want to give place to the dark- ness of this world in any way.
You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own spe- cial people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. 1 PETER 2:9
