ABC Liquor Store Employee Robs Another ABC Liquor Store
An employee of an ABC Liquor Store has been charged with robbing another ABC Store and shooting two of the employees.
Authorities reported that
Abdul Farid Naim Muhammad, an employee of the ABC Liquor on West Kennedy Boulevard, called in to his workplace in April to let them know he wouldn’t be coming in because his mother had been sick for several days.
According to court docu- ments, Muhammad lied to his bosses and never told them he was in the hospital after he was shot while robbing an- other ABC Liquor Store on East Hillsborough Avenue.
During the incident on April 19th, detectives said the Kennedy Boulevard employee also shot two Hillsborough Av- enue store employees in the face.
Muhammad is scheduled to enter a guilty plea to federal charges of robbery and carry- ing a concealed firearm in fur- therance of a crime of violence. The charges carry up to life in prison and a minimum of 10 years.
The investigation revealed that three employees were present when Muhammad walked in and pulled a gun from his waistband. He re- portedly ordered two to lie face down on the floor and the third to open the cash registers before lying down.
While on the floor, authori-

Detectives found Muham- mad at Tampa Community Hospital under the name of James King.
