MR. WILLIE DAVIS, JR.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 27th, 10 a. m. at Aden Funeral Home, 8037 East Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Tampa, FL 33619, for Willie Davis, Jr., who passed away on Thursday, Au- gust 11, 2022, at his home in the city of Tampa, Florida.
Willie was born on June 24, 1971, in Tampa, Florida, to the late Willie Davis, Sr. and Rosetta Delores Jackson. He enjoyed cooking, and hosting friends and family. He was a graduate of King High School, and then en- listed into the U. S. Navy, where he served honorably for 5 years.
Willie is survived by: his daughters, Tierra S. White of Bradenton, FL and Destiny A. Davis of San Diego, CA; his brothers, Bobby D. Gadson of Tampa, FL, William J. Gadson (Katrina) of Raleigh, NC, and Keyvis A. Washington (Dorine), of Tampa, FL, Derek Davis, Ar- tavius Davis; and sister, Valen- cia Davis.

MS. JANET ELAINE SIMS
A Homegoing Celebration for Ms. Janet Elaine Sims, who passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022, will be held on Satur- day, August 27th at 10:30 a. m., at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Rev. Michael Neely, offici- ating. The interment will follow at Garden of Memories Ceme- tery.
Ms. Janet Elaine Sims was born on December 29, 1958, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her favorite activities included shopping, going to the casino, talking with family and friends, and donating to church organi- zations. Janet spent most of her days and nights speaking with her loved ones due to everyone being spread out amongst the country. Janet’s laugh was heavy and heartfelt.
She leaves precious memories with: her parents, Raymond Bowman, and Johnnie Mae Har- ris; her guardians, Robert and Anna Lee Griffin; her son, George Sims, Jr., (Sharnee); granddaughter, Sage Sims; brothers, Alex, Lee, and Willie Bowman; sisters, Theresa, Eliz- abeth Ann, and Roseanne Bow- man; cousin, Chante Hunter; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Janet’s heart was so big, she gave without the in- tent to receive. Janet loved un- conditionally. She was a true woman of God, and may God continue to bless her, her fam- ily, and friends.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Satur- day, August 27, at 9:30 a. m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home on Sat- urday for the service. We are following CDC guidelines.

A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Brian Lamarr Henry Hager, of Tampa, FL, who passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2022, will be held on Satur- day, August 27th, 1 p. m., at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Brian, affectionately nick- named “B”, was born on April 14, 1989, in Tampa, Florida, to Leroy A. Henry, Sr. and Mattie D. Philon. He loved making music and running his many He was preceded in death by: his fa- ther, Leroy A. Henry, Sr.; and grandmother, Rebecca Kaputa.

MR. CALVIN ANTWAN OLIVER
Homegoing services for Mr. Calvin Antwan Oliver, who passed away on August 7, 2022, will be held Saturday, August 27, 2022, at 10am, at Heaven Destiny Assembly of God, 4104 East Ellicott Street, Tampa, Florida 33610, with Pastor Tom Jones officiating. The commit- tal will be made at the assembly in the presence of family and friends.
Calvin Antwan Oliver was the only son born to Calvin J. Oliver and Nelline Hardnett. He arrived to his family on April 22, 1980, in Boston, MA. Calvin was raised mostly in Worcester, MA, he and his family moved to Tampa, FL in 1997, where he graduated from Wharton High School in 1998. Calvin was a natural entrepreneur and lived life on his terms. Like his fa- ther, he had a love of cars, boats, and his family. If some- thing was broken, he was going to fix it.
Calvin was preceded in death by: his parents Calvin and Nelline and grandparents.
Calvin is survived by: his only child, Calvin A. Oliver (1) (Tampa, FL); Calvin took his role as the only son and brother very seriously to care and love each of his five sisters, Komiel (Raleigh, NC), Antwanette (Tampa, FL), Taushia (Tampa, FL), Kyle (Boston, MA), and baby sister, Taukera (Tampa, FL); Calvin was affectionately called “UNCLE” by his nieces and nephews, Amara-Nycole, Jasmine, Shanell, Justin, Jor- dan, Aiyana, Skye, Aryssa, Tatiyanna, and Desmond. Each one had an amazing relation- ship with Uncle. Each treasur- ing the memories and love they shared. Calvin was loved and cherished by a host of aunts, un- cles, cousins, family and friends. Calvin meant more to his family than he ever under- stood.
Calvin departed this earth and gained his wings on August 6, 2022.

MR. KENLUN EUGENE DAWSON
Mr. Kenlun Eugene ‘Shaq” Dawson passed away Wednes- day, August 17, 2022. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022, 11 a. m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606, with Apostle Otis Cooper, Officiating. Interment to follow in Garden of Peace Cemetery, 102 Spencer Street, Plant City, FL 33563. MASK RECOMMENDED.
On April 12, 1978, in Tampa, Florida, Kenlun Eugene Dawson was born to Wallace Dawson and Bobbie Bell Dawson. Kenlun grew up to be a dedicated worker and occasionally a truck driver. If you have ever met Kenlun, you would remember him by his smile. Kind and Lovable should have been his middle name.
As Kenlun grew, he gradu- ated from Armwood High School in Seffner, Florida and later re- ceived his BS degree in Business Administration from the Univer- sity of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. He was an exceptional football player at both schools. Kenlun loved his family. He was always there for family and friends.
Kenlun leaves to cherish his memory: his two daughters, Kayla Dawson, and Jordan Daw- son; devoted mother, Bobbie Bell Dawson; father, Wallace Daw- son; siblings, Nia Bell, Satura Whetstone and Danielle Guione; grandmother, Shirley Bell; un- cles, Eric Bell, Sydney Greene, Lonzell Bell, Lederin “Pop” Daw- son, and Kennie Dawson; aunts, Shandelyn Dawson, Janice Green, and Michelle Green; sev- eral special relatives, Sydell Bon- ner, and Brenda Lover Congo; cousins, Lakendra Green, and Soniqua Green; and a host of other sorrowing cousins, family and friends.
