The Sentinel recommended a ‘yes’ on the School Board Millage. As of press time, there will possibly be a recount because the race is so close.
Candidates endorsed by the Sentinel Edito- rial Board did quite well in the Primary Elections on Tuesday, August 23, 2022.

U. S. Representative of Congress, District 14, Kathy Castor (Dem) championed this race with nearly 91% of the votes.
In the Governor/Lt. Governor Race, Charlie Crist (Dem) won with 61% of the votes. He’ll face current Governor Ron DeSantis in Novem-

 The Trump Cult Takeover
If you missed voting in the recent midterm election pri- mary, BE sure to vote in the November elections. Why? Because of more than 130 candidates endorsed by Don- ald Trump, at least half of them won the primary elections between March and August 16, 2022.
In March, during the Texas primaries, all of Trump’s chosen Congressional and statewide candidates won their races with the exception of one. In the Indiana and Ohio primaries, all 22 of his endorsed candidates won. One Trump endorsed candidate in Nebraska and two candi- dates in West Virginia were election deniers and sup- ported overturning the 2020 electoral votes.
In Pennsylvania, more than 24 Trump endorsed can- didates won their primary races, while in North Carolina one Trump backed Senate candidate for Representative lost. One Trump backed candidate in South Carolina won the seat. Candidates are being elected who either will have control of state voting or be seated in Congress to overturn the electoral votes if the people they voted for do not win.
The behavior of the majority of Trump supporters is cult-like. The cult is so off the chain until they dare to threaten and attack the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Secret Service.
A cult is known to obsessively show devotion to a par- ticular figure that can do no wrong. The group usually ag- gressively attempts to change people’s way of thinking to the cult’s way of thinking and actions. And, in the follow- ers’ minds, the leader of the cult is not expected to be held accountable to any authority. Cult members may threaten and attack others who oppose the leader. Consequently, in internet forums, Trump supporters call for threats of violence and a civil war.
Because most ultra-Republicans believe the 2020 elec- tion was stolen, they did not speak out on Trump’s behav- ior. They instead, stood by or participated in Trump’s attempt to overthrow the 2020 election.
Trump-believing Republicans in state and congres- sional offices place America’s system of voting in jeop- ardy. Therefore, if you don’t vote, you give up your right to live in a democratic society. The November election is a little more than 8 weeks away, PLEASE let your voice be heard loud and clear... VOTE.
