Barricaded Man Charged With Murder
Man Charged With
    A 44-year-old man who barricaded himself in a shed was taken into custody Mon- day. He was charged with second-degree murder.
According to the Hillsbor- ough County Sheriff’s Office, at approximately 8:30 p.m. on March 17, 2022, a shoot- ing took place in the 3800 block of Medulla Road, in Plant City. When deputies ar- rived at the scene, they lo- cated a deceased man in a shed on the property.
Through investigative means, deputies have ob- tained probable cause to ar- rest Carl Lee and charge him with second-degree mur-
ation Team, and the Bomb Disposal Team were called to the scene to assist in the ar- rest of Lee. Shortly after 7 p.m., Lee was taken into cus- tody.

probation. On Monday, de- tectives learned that Lee was in the 9300 block of Edison Road, in Lithia. He had bar- ricaded himself under a shed.

Detectives have arrested a 40-year-old man and charged him in connection with a fatal shooting. The shooting took place Monday night in the 2100 block of N. Johnson Street, in Plant City.
According to the Plant City Police Department, officers responded to the location after receiving a 9-1-1 call in reference to a shooting. When they arrived, they located a 54-year-old man in the front passenger seat of a vehicle. He was suffering from gunshot wounds. The unidentified man died at the scene as a re- sult of his injuries. Police also located a 51-year-old man who was also suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital with non-life threat- ening injuries.
During their investigation, police learned that earlier in the evening, the two men were together when the deceased man and another man became engaged in an argument. Both victims left the location in an attempt to de-escalate the sit- uation.
When they arrived in the 2100 block of N. Johnson Street, the victim told police a black vehicle was driving in

the area. The driver allegedly drove up to their vehicle and shot both men. Hillsborough County Fire Rescue re- sponded to the scene and treated the victim before transporting him to the hospi- tal.
As the investigation con- tinued, detectives developed information that identified Antonio D. Johnson as the gunman. Johnson was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Hills- borough County Jail. He was charged with second-degree murder with a firearm and at- tempted second-degree mur- der with a firearm.

City Shooting
 Pastor, 81, Charged With Sexual Battery Of Foster Children
An 81-year-old pastor and foster parent has been ar- rested. He is accused of sexual battery on a victim who is now an adult. He was also charged with 3 counts lewd and lasciv- ious molestation.
According to the Tampa Police Department, Jesus Manuel Castellano-Mo- jica is the pastor at Grace Church of the Nazarene. He is also a foster parent.
He was charged with sex- ual battery of a woman who was 11-years-old at the time and her foster parent. The other two lewd and lascivious molestation charges involved two 7-year-olds currently in

his care.
On February 14, 2022, the
Department of Children and Families received a report that a 7-year-old victim may have
been a victim of sexual abuse. The case was then assigned to the Tampa Police Department Special Victim’s Unit.
During the course of the investigation, detectives de- termined there may be addi- tional victims involved and after multiple interviews, in- vestigators discovered there were a total of three victims — two 7-year-old females and an adult female. The adult female (28-years-old) disclosed incidents that oc- curred to her when she was 11-years-old.
The investigation is ongo- ing.
   Police Seek Help To Identify Bank Robbery Suspect
 The Haines City Police Department is seeking assis- tance from the community to identify a man who robbed a local bank after threatening tellers with violence.
The suspect entered Citi- zens Bank & Trust, 36250 U. S. 27, after 11 a.m. last Mon- day.
Bank employees told po- lice that the man demanded money and warned that no one would get hurt if the teller complied.
The teller handed the man an undisclosed amount of cash. He grabbed the money, left the location, and ran south. Surveillance footage

what ap-
peared to be
a white Chrysler minivan was parked.
The suspect entered the van and drove from the area. Detectives believe that the man was traveling south on
U. S. 27 before arriving at the location.
The suspect is described as older white man wearing a plaid shirt, khaki pants, sun- glasses, a surgical mask and a ballcap. The investigation is continuing.
