Spring Fling
Promoter To Bring Artists Together For First ‘Spring Fling’

On Saturday, March 25th, Rick Grant, of Chinaman Records, and Nu Focuz En- tertainment, will present the “The 2017 Spring Fling.” The event will take place at the Historic Cuban Club, 2010 14th Avenue, in Ybor City, at 8 p.m.
The event is being hosted by Queen Bee, of 95.7 The Beat. It is being presented in celebration of the newly re- leased album, “Breaking Glass Ceilings.” The name of the album is appro- priate and a “first” because it brought artists from throughout the country to- gether to create this album. The album features the tal- ents of 15 independent artists. It was released in January 2017, and has worldwide distribution.
Chris Wong Won bet- ter known as Fresh Kid Ice, said, “I called this proj- ect “Breaking Glass Ceil- ings” because I wanted to prove that veteran artists could work with new artists and make great music to- gether.”
He continued, “This com- pilation is a breakthrough for me personally, because I’ve worked with a lot of peo- ple over the years and guided a lot of careers. Now to see them come back and work with me on this it’s like a homecoming, ya dig. I got
worldwide as a member of the world’s nastiest group, has made him a staple in clubs with hits such as: “Me So Horny,” and “Move Somethin'.” He is also the founder of Chinaman Records.
Boi Durty is the only artist from Tampa perform- ing in the show. He said, “I’m honored, I’m humbled and blessed by the opportu- nity to work with the leg- endary Fresh Kid Ice and the Chinaman family. I’m excited about my new single from my debut album #stb4l.”
The artists who will per-
form live at the event are: The Chinaman Fresh Kid Ice, Ice Cubes’ Lench Mob Poison Clan, JT Money and The Gucci Crew II, Reggae sensation Seltza, IAMTUNE, Bi- ship, Boi Durty, Miles Warren and rising star Fame Faiella.
There will also be plenty of surprise celebrity guests appearing on the show.
Other special attractions include the Find your Tinder Date Contest with The Bachelor Season 6 winner Mary Delgado and The Wet T-shirt and Big Booty Twerk Contest.
Artists slated to perform includes Fresh Kid Ice, founding mem- ber of 2 Live Crew, JT Money, member of Poison Clan, Ice Cube's Lench Mob, Gucci Crew II, Boi Durty, Fame Faiella, Miles Warren, IAMTUNE, Seltza, Drill Em Out, Biship, and Monte Cristoe.
