JACKSON
MR. BENNIE GLENDELL LEWIS, SR.
Celebration of life service for Mr. Bennie Glendell Lewis, Sr., who transitioned on Feb- ruary 16, 2017 will be held Sat- urday, March 18, 2017 at 11 a. m. at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 3005 E. Elli- cott Street, Tampa, FL 33610, Rev. Larry Mouton, Pastor, Rev. Ronnie McCray, officiat- ing.
Bennie Glendell Lewis, Sr., aka Buddy, age 61, departed from this life on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at St. Joseph Hospital in Tampa. He was the eldest son of Ella Mae and Ben- nie Coy Lewis and the second eldest of all his siblings.
Born on May 4, 1955 in Nakina, NC, he moved to Tampa in 1960 at the age of 5 with his family. Buddy was a proud graduate of Hillsbor- ough High School Class of 1974. He worked for many years for a national grocery chain and local fiberglass fab- rication companies until his ailing health prevented him from working any longer.
He is preceded in death by: his parents; sister, Hazel; and nephew, Corey.
He leaves behind to cherish fond memories: his children, Antwon Lewis, Phylena Lewis- Hooker, Dr. Bennie G. Lewis, Jr.; son-in-law, Albert Hooker; daughter-in-law, Tawanna Lewis; grandchildren, Myan Hooker, Logan Lewis, Morgan Lewis, Bennie G. Lewis, III, Kayla Lewis; siblings, Ben- jamin Lewis, Debra Simmons, William Lewis, Elizabeth Lewis-Cullens, Yvette Lewis; and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held Fri- day, March 17, 2017 at Jackson Funeral Home, 4605 N. 34th Street, Tampa, 33610, from 6-8 p. m. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 10:45 a. m. for the serv-

MS. VICTORIA JANICE BELIN
A homegoing celebration for Ms. Victoria J. Belin of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 will be held Saturday, March 18th, 11 a. m. at First Baptist Church of West Tampa, 1302 N. Willow Ave., Rev. Dr. Rayford Harper, pastor, offici- ating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Victoria was born October 11, 1985 in Tampa, FL. Victoria graduated from Armwood High School, class of 2004. She loved music, but singing was her passion; she was a talented artist and loved drawing Anime. She also loved working, but most importantly she loved being a mother to her son.
She was preceded in death by: her aunts, Inez Grier and Madelyn Shumate; uncle, Booker T. Belin; and cousin, Marcus Thornton.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories with: her companion, Jermaine Marshal Weston, Sr.; son, Jermaine Marshal Weston, Jr.; parents, Melissa Belin and Joe John- son; a special mother and aunt, Wanda (Floyd) Rivers; grand- mother, Marva Belin; broth- ers, Vincent Belin and Leo Watts, Jr.; sisters, Yolanda Belin, Shakia Watts, Veronica Alexander, Mable Belin, Ashley Reese, Cecelia Davis and Ron- shai Davis; aunt, Zandra (Jon) Eardley; uncle, Theodore Belin; nieces, Yo’Anitra Belin, Nefertiti Davis and Iboni Belin; a host of cousins including, Linda Shumate, Ruben (Linda) Grier, Donald Grier, Daryl Davis, Kevin Davis, Lamar Davis and Charles Belin; best friend, Tiffeny Hendry; a host of other relatives and friends.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, March 17th, from 5 p. m. to 8 p. m. The family will re- ceive friends from 5 p. m. to 6 p. m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.

MR. JUAN ‘WOODY’ BETHEL, SR.
A Catholic homegoing funeral Mass for Mr. Juan “Woody” Bethel, Sr., who passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2017 sur- rounded by his wife, children and cherished family members, will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017, 2 p. m. at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 1203 N. Ne- braska Ave., Father Paul Chikawe, pastor officiating.
Juan was born in Tampa, FL, on November 3, 1958, to William O. Bethel, Sr. and Dalia Casellas Bethel. During his life, Juan was known for his love of knowledge, loyalty to his family, service to his country, a dedicated teacher, his talents in swimming, baseball and football, and for “telling it like it is.” He was a veteran and served in the United States Army for 16 years, and worked for Hillsborough County School Board for over 10 years as an ed- ucator. He was a graduate of Nova Southeastern University, where he received his Master’s in Educational Leadership.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; and sister, Stephanie Solomon.
He leaves to celebrate his life and carry forth his legacy: a lov- ing wife, Gloria Jean Bethel; chil- dren, Juana J. Bethel, Juan G. Bethel, Jr., Julian Bethel and Juana L. Bethel; beautiful grand- children; brother, William O. Bethel, Jr.; and sisters, Ingrid Bethel and Janice Young; and special and devoted niece, An- drea Potter and family; he also leaves behind a host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, in- laws, colleagues and students.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, March17th,from5p.m.to8p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.

Jacqueline Conner Welch was born on March 18, 1963, in Tampa, FL. She attended the local schools of Hillsborough County. She worked for Ms. Minnie Daycare Center and also worked for her father at the Broadway Bar as a barmaid. Jacqueline loved to cook, party, dance and go shopping and take care of her family.
She was preceded in death by: her son, Aubrey Conner; fa- ther, Willie James Conner, Sr.; brothers, Lenorris Conner-Clin- ton and Achlious Rene Conner.

A homegoing celebration for Mr. Major B. Bloom, Jr. of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2017, will be held Saturday, March 18th, 11 a. m. at New Salem P. B. Church, 1605 N. Ne- braska Ave., Elder Leland John- son, officiating. The interment will be in Florida National Ceme- tery.
Major Bernard Bloom, Jr. was born October 8, 1938 in By- romville, Georgia. Major Bloom was a member of New Salem P. B. Church. He enjoyed dancing, bar- bequing and entertaining friends and family. Major Bloom was em- ployed for 35 years for the Tampa Yacht Club as the Maitre D.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Major Bloom, Sr. and Mattie Mae Ghantt; sisters, Eloise Grisby and Mary Alice Cor- bett.
