Junior Bowler To Participate In Championship Event
Biker Donates Table For Mother’s Day Event
  BY JULIA JACKSON
Most 13-year-old young men are playing baseball, soccer, basketball, football, or maybe track and field. But, for one 13-year- old here in Tampa Bay, those sports are not in the heart and soul of Christian An- thony Mouton. His choice of sports is bowling.
Christian has succeeded in becoming the 2nd African American youth to win in the Professional Bowlers Association PBA Jun- ior Championship. He participated in the championship event at Bolero Lanes in Ma- rietta, GA, on March 26th and 27, 2022. He also received a $1,000 scholarship and paid entry fees for the Masters Tournament which will be held over the summer.
Christian is an honor student at Union Park Charter School in Wesley Chapel. He is the proud son of Arika Sherman, and grandson of Phillip and Veronica Parker.
Congratulations to Christian for all his hard work and commitment to the sport he loves and enjoys playing – bowling.

Tampa Bay biker, Cur- tis Hill, of the Classic Tampa Bay Bikers Jam- boree, donated a table for the Mother’s Day Banquet sponsored by Trinity and Faith Ministry. Hill pre- sented a check to cover the cost of the table to Bishop Michelle B. Patty, pastor, during her Satur- day morning show, “What’s Really Happen- ing,” on WTMP radio. The donated table will be for senior mothers.
The Mother’s Day Con- cert and Dinner, featur- ing several gospel artists, will be held Friday, May 6, 6 p. m., at the American Legion Post 5, 3810 W. Kennedy Blvd. (Photo- graph by Julia Jackson)
