MR. RALPH BORDERS
A Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Ralph Borders will be held Saturday May 7, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida, with Rev. Dr. Isaac L. William of Greater True Vine Missionary Baptist Church, Officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Av- enue Tampa, Florida.
Mr. Ralph Borders (Footchie) was born on August 28, 1960, in Donaldsonville, GA. He attended Jackson County Public Schools and graduated from Grand Ridge High School in May 1978. He worked at Sunny Land Mental Institution in Greenwood, Florida, until relo- cating to Tampa, Florida, in the early nineties; where he did con- struction until he became dis- abled.
Ralph enjoyed life and loved spending time with family. He was loved and adored by all.
Ralph was preceded in death by: his parents, Annie Lee Bor- ders and Roy Borders, Sr.; brothers, Roy Borders, Jr., Johnnie Borders, Lee Benny Borders, Sr., Nero Borders, Sr., and Hyram Horne; sister, Edna Nobles.
He leaves to cherish memo- ries of him with: his sister, Ether Borders; his brothers, Luis Bor- ders (wife, Annie Lou Borders), Elijah Borders, and Eddie Horne (wife, Daisy Horne); a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other sorrowing relatives and friends.
There will be a viewing on Friday, May 6, 2022, at Wilson Funeral Home from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. Due to the current CDC re- strictions; we are asking that you use the visitation as an opportu- nity to pay your final respect. For your convenience and safety, we have extended our visitation hours.

Mr. Cornelius Terrence Green was born in Tampa, Fl. on September 23, 1975. He was the son of Mrs. Jacquelyn E. Green and Mr. Milton C. Green, Sr.
Cornelius was educated and graduated from Chamberlain High School in 1996. He was employed with a local construc- tion company. He was a long- time resident of Tampa, FL and a devout Dallas Cowboys fan.
He is survived by: his chil- dren, 2 sons, Jeremy Green, and Cornelius T. Green, Jr.; 3 daughters, Dominique Green, Victoria Green, and Theresa Green, all of Tampa, FL; 1 grandson, Kaiyden Fedd; 2 granddaughters, Anayla Green and Anais Green; parents, Mrs. Jacquelyn E. Green and Mr. Milton C. Green, Sr.; 4 broth- ers, Nathan Green, (Irene Green), Milton Green Jr., Anto- nio Cobbert, Rickey Green; 2 sisters, Sonia Green (Michael Perkins), and Hazel Green (Quanterrious Campbell), all of Tampa, FL; and a host of sor- rowful nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

MRS. JOSEPHINE ROYAL
Mrs. Josephine Royal of Tampa, Florida passed away on Monday, April 25, 2022. Funeral Services will be held on Satur- day, May 07, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist of Progress Village, 8722 Progress Blvd Tampa FL 33619 with Dr. Sam Maxwell, of- ficiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.
Mrs. Josephine Royal was born December 7, 1929, to the parentage of Mr. Amos Scott and Christine Scott. She was raised and nurtured in a Christian home in Tampa, Florida. She at- tended schools in the Hillsbor- ough County Public School System and graduated from Mid- dleton High School Class of 1948. She was employed as a home- maker for several years and re- tired in 1981.
Mrs. Josephine Royal was a longtime member of The First Baptist Church of Progress Vil- lage since the early 60’s under the pastorate of founding pastor,
Rev. B. T. Williams, later Rev. Roosevelt Robinson, Jr. and cur- rent Senior Teaching Pastor, Dr. Sam Maxwell. She served on the Usher Board #1 and the Food Bank ministry. She also enjoyed spending time with the Sistahs of the Tampa Chapter of The Red Hat Society.
Mrs. Josephine Royal was married to Frank Royal for thirty years. To this union three chil- dren were born. She was pre- ceded in death by her beloved husband Frank and son Robert J. Royal.
She leaves to cherish loving memories with two daughters; Shirley Everett (Johnny Richard- son) and Mary a.k.a Tammy (Nathan) Best Jr.; grandchil- dren, Clyde Everett Jr. (Linda), Tareyton Everett (Daniel McNab), Shirmeka Everett, and Jermaine Everett; great grand- children, Tajah(Justin) Jones, Zeryus Everett, Tyran Smith, Jaylen Everett, Jermaine Everett Jr., Jakobe Everett, and Taraji Volcy; great great grandchildren, Jenesis Jones, Bobby Jackson, Justin Jackson II and Bryson Jackson, one sister; Cora Archie, two brothers; John Henry Scott (Voncile) and Bernard Scott(Anita), three sister in laws; Rose Scott, Mattie Bell Royal and Valmarie Royal, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other sorrowing relatives and friends.

Colonel Charles William Washington Jr. of Tampa, Florida passed away on Friday, April 29, 2022. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 07, 2022, 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Zion AME Church, 5920 Robert Tolle Dr., Riverview, FL 33578, with Pastor Karen Sims, officiating.
Charles W. Washington, Jr. (Ret-Col.) was born on April 11, 1935, in Waynesboro, PA. His parents who pre-deceased him were Estelle Mae Waltz Dennis and Douglas Dennis. He was married to the love of his life for over 62 years, the late Beverly Ann Bennett.
At the time of his death, he was co-owner of WHG, Inc., a medical services consulting busi- ness for over 3 decades.
He was preceded in death by son, William Herman Washing- ton, and siblings, Ruth Dell, Rowena Ann a Taylor, and Jon Dennis.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ory his sons, William W. Howell (Belinda Carter), and Gerald Tay- lor Howell (Barbara); siblings, Estelle Carter, William T. Dennis, and Douglas Dennis; and a host of grandchildren, other relatives, friends, and associates.
Col. Washington will be laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery.
