Suspect Arrested For Video Voyeurism

Suspect Charged In 2007 Homicide
According to the Hillsbor- ough County Sheriff’s Office, on May 16th at 12:45 p.m., Johnathan Rogers, 31, was seen and recorded walking through the Sears and Macy’s Department Stores at the Uni- versity Square Mall.
Rogers was recorded stand- ing behind the victims and then utilizing his phone to photo- graph under the victims’ skirts without their knowledge. He was then confronted by mall se- curity, detained, and brought to the loss prevention office inside of Macy’s.

Clearwater Police homicide detectives have charged a 30- year-old man with manslaugh- ter in the unsolved murder of a security guard from nearly a decade ago.

erupted in the parking lot of The Atrium Nightclub.
As he tried to break up the fight, Dash was punched in the face and fell back, hitting his head. He died the next day from his injuries.
Through the subsequent in- vestigation it was determined that Bell was the man who struck Dash.

According to a witness, Tyler Howell, 19, was the passenger in a blue vehicle driven by an un- known male. A red vehicle, driven by Durrell Boswell, 23, and containing a female passen- ger, pulled in front of the Twi- light Zone.
For unknown reasons, deputies said Howell got out of his vehicle and approached Boswell’s vehicle while aiming a silver handgun at the occu- pants. In an act of self-defense, deputies said Boswell pulled his handgun and shot at Howell, striking him twice before leaving the scene.
Howell left the scene as well, but returned later and was trans- ported to a local hospital where he is reported to be in stable con- dition.
Boswell cooperated with de- tectives, and told them neither he or his female passenger knew Howell.
Charges against Howell are pending.
Crime Stoppers Needs Help In Locating Suspect

Crime Stoppers of Pinellas County is looking for information on the whereabouts of Darrell Wesley Boulware who is wanted for attempted first-degree murder and attempted robbery.
Investigators said Boulware, 40, is a fugitive who has been ar- rested previously in Pinellas County on a warrant for failure to appear.
Boulware is known to fre- quent Clearwater and Holiday, and if anyone has information on his whereabouts and wants to re- main anonymous, can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-8477.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office reports that deputies arrested a man for reportedly beating his grandmother, then stealing her car.
Deputies said between 7 p. m. May 17th and 6:56 a.m. May 18th at 7410 52nd Av- enue, James Mitchell, Jr., 54, battered the victim, causing her to sustain severe injuries. Mitchell then re- portedly left the victim on the ground in a semi-con- scious state for an unknown amount of time and fled in her 2001 beige Infiniti QX4 sport utility vehicle, Florida tag X89 9TT.

for Mitchell’s arrest on a charge of aggravated battery on a person 65 or older and grand theft vehicle.

St. Petersburg Police have ar- rested Donnell Weaver, 21, after they caught him Tuesday committing a home burglary in the 1900 block of 22nd Avenue, South. He was arrested and charged with two counts of res- idential burglary, resisting ar- rest and tampering with physical evidence.
Authorities said Weaver has been arrested five times for res- idential burglary since March of this year. Each time he has bonded out and committed the same type of crime.

Man On Mobility Scooter Stabbed, Robbed
Deceased Suspect Who Fled From Deputies Identified
Tampa Police are looking for a suspect accused of stabbing a man on a mobility scooter and stealing his cell phone.
Police said the incident hap- pened at 2:25 a.m. Wednesday when the victim, who wasn’t identified, was riding a mobil- ity scooter in the area of 13th
Street and East Sitka in Sul- phur Springs. The victim told police he was stabbed with a sharp object and his cell phone was taken.
The victim suffered several lacerations in the incident, and police are seeking information.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Of- fice reports that the man who fled from deputies in a stolen car in Lakeland on May 15th has been identified.
Rodrick Childs, 31, crashed a vehicle stolen out of Gainesville. He died at the scene.
Deputies said at 6:35 p.m. Sunday, Polk County deputies stopped a silver 2003 Infiniti for speeding on Kathleen Road. The driver reportedly gave a false name to deputies and told them he didn’t have a driver’s license. He also allegedly told them he had borrowed the car from a cousin.
When the deputy called to verify the information, he dis- covered the car had been stolen out of Alachua County on May 10th.
The deputy requested backup that arrived at 6:40 p. m. As other deputies arrived, the stolen Infiniti took off, and a pursuit was initiated. It was almost im- mediately canceled by a supervi- sor.
At 6:42 p.m., deputies discov- ered the Infiniti had collided with another vehicle and crashed.
Juveniles Arrested In Stolen Vehicle

When deputies arrived on the scene, they immediately called EMS, and performed CPR until they arrived. At 7 p. m., Childs was declared dead at the scene.
According to witnesses and evidence, after striking another vehicle, Childs drove through two yards, and the Infiniti began to roll. While rolling, the Infiniti struck a carport, a basketball pole, and a tree. It then came to rest in the yard of a residence at 2433 Duff Road.
Childs was ejected, leaving deputies to the conclusion that he wasn’t wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
Wednesday night, Tampa Police shut down northbound traffic on Nebraska at Bougainvillea as they and Tampa Fire Rescue worked a vehicle crash that resulted in the vehicle striking a mobile home.
Police said the crash oc- curred at the Lazy Oaks Mobile
Home Park, 10603 Nebraska Avenue, and involved a vehicle that had been reported stolen earlier that day.
Police said three juveniles were inside the car at the time of the crash, and they were all taken into custody after being treated for non-life threaten- ing injuries.
