Juneteeth Event:
Keepin’ It Real Underground And West Tampa Alliance To Hold Juneteenth Festival
Internet radio Keeping It Real-Underground in con- junction with the West Tampa Alliance have planned to hold its Juneteenth events on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at 5 p.m.
Dwight Bolden, of Keeping It Real Radio stated, “Heem Baisden, President of the West Tampa Alliance, was able to obtain funding from the West Tampa CRA for the Juneteenth Celebra- tion.”
Mr. Bolden went on to say that Mr. Baisden will appear before the Tampa City Council on June 9 to request additional funding for the Juneteenth Celebration. The community is invited to at-

The festival will be held in
the 2100 block of Main Street in West Tampa. This year’s festival entertainment is the “Show Stoppers Tour” and will feature local live enter- tainers. Lyrical Love, along with Dwight Bolden will be the host.
On Friday night, the ban- quet will be held from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Barksdale Senior Citizen Center at 1808 Lincoln Ave.
After parties will be held at the Cotton Club, 2502 N Albany Ave, Tampa, Florida 33607, on Friday and Satur- day.
