Brothers Charged With Armed Robbery
Suspects Walk Out Of Business With Stolen Equipment
These are surveillance photos of three suspects being sought in the theft of equipment from Game Stop.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office reports that on October 27th at 6:40 p. m. three people were seen entering the Game Stop storage room, 15217 North Dale Mabry, through a door that was left open, and took an Xbox One Gaming Console and five Nintendo 3DS hand held gaming systems valued at over $1,500. The suspects then left the store without paying for the merchandise.

The three suspects are de- scribed as two Black males be- tween 50 and 64 years of age and a Black female 22 to 29 years old.
Hotel Robbed Near Busch Gardens
This is a surveillance photo of a man suspected of robbing two hotels in the Busch Gardens area.

On Monday at 9:34 p. m., Tampa Police were called to the scene of an armed robbery of the Mobil Station, 4242 East Busch Boulevard.
According to police, two Black males in dark clothing robbed the station and fled in the area of Busch Boulevard and North 46th Street.
Tampa Police K-9 Units and their helicopter arrived and after a search of the area, the two alleged robbers were ar- rested.
TAVANTE JONES
Brothers Terrance Jones, 19, and Tavante Jones, 22, are being held without bond.
Tavante is facing two counts of armed robbery and resisting arrest without violence. Ter- rance is facing the same charges, plus carrying a con- cealed weapon and a probation violation.
Terrance was released from jail January 9, 2015 on $9,500 bond after being arrested De- cember 30, 2014 on grand theft and burglary charges.
The Tampa Police Department has released a surveillance video from a hotel robbery and hope the public can help identify the sus- pect.
Detectives said the robbery oc- curred 11:46 p. m. Thursday at the Holiday Inn Express, 2807 East Busch Boulevard.
According to reports, a man walked up to the front desk showed the clerk a gun and de- manded money. The surveillance video shows the clerk pulling out the cash drawer and handing it to the suspect, who grabbed the cash and fled.
From the video, detectives
were able to determine the sus- pect’s clothing, including his shoes, were very distinctive.
Detectives said the suspect is also being looked at as the man who pointed a gun at a clerk a few hours earlier at a La Quinta Inn, 6202 North 30th Street, less than half-mile away from the Holiday Inn.

Man Charged With Raping Woman Outside Thrift Store
On Sunday night, Tampa Po- lice arrested a man they said sexually assaulted a woman who was sleeping behind a charity thrift store in North Tampa.
Detectives said at 8 p. m. Sunday, Anthony Bennett, 30, walked up to a woman on the west side of the Hope Chil- dren’s Thrift store, 702 E. Fowler Ave. He allegedly threat- ened her with a knife and forced her to perform a sex act on him.
The victim tried to dial 9-1-1, but police said Bennett grabbed the cell phone and broke it to prevent her from making the call. He then report- edly continued the assault and cut the victim’s hand before he left.

matched the description of the attacker, and the victim later positively identified him, police said.
Bennett was charged with sexual battery, tampering with a witness and two misdemeanor drug charges. He is being held on a bond of $55,750.
Suspect Arrested In Sunday Shooting

Largo Police announced the ar- rest of a man being sought after a shooting early Sunday following a brawl.
Police said at 1 a. m., officers were called to the area of 14th Av- enue, Northwest and Clearwater Largo Road on a report of possi- ble gunshots being fired.
Investigators discovered two groups of people were walking in the area and got into a brawl near the wild Indian Bar, 1158 7th Street, Northwest. After the fight dispersed, the groups got into a PT Cruiser and a Ford SUV and looked for each other, police said.
The group in the PT Cruiser went into the Wild Indian Bar and said they had just been in a fight. A patron at the bar, Richard Allen Harris, 32, decided to get involved and started driving around in an SUV looking for the Ford SUV, police said.
Police said at one point, the Ford SUV was behind Harris as he turned west onto 14th Avenue, Northwest from southbound Clearwater Largo Road. As they followed the SUV, police said Harris allegedly opened fire on

the SUV, shooting several rounds through his own vehicle and win- dows. Several rounds hit the SUV.
One of the shots fired hit the windshield in front of the driver, Henry Thomas, 27, but did not go through. There were two other men in the SUV, Corey Smith, 27, and Michael Ryan, 22.
Rounds also struck the vehi- cle’s frame and the front passen- ger tire.
Harris was arrested Tuesday and charged with attempted mur- der. He also was wanted on a fail- ure to appear warrant in Hillsborough County for being a felon in possession of a firearm.
