FYI City, County Combine Some Disposal And Recycling Services
Sisters Network Of Tampa Bay To Host Meeting
The City of Tampa and Hillsborough County’s Haz- ardous Waste and Electronics Recycling Program will pro- vide joint services to Hillsbor- ough County residents. The two agencies will work in con- junction to offer year-round disposal of hazardous chemi- cals and electronics.
Effective immediately, City residents will be able to safely dispose of hazardous chemi- cals and electronics year round and at various locations throughout Hillsborough County. There will be no ad- ditional cost for residents to utilize this service.
To utilize this service, City residents will need to present a valid State ID card or dri- ver’s license confirming their place of residency in the City of Tampa.
Electronics And Paint
Individuals wishing to dis- pose of household electronics and paint can visit the desig- nated locations Monday through Saturday, from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.
The locations are as fol- lows: Alderman Ford, 9402 State Road 39, Lithia, 33547 (813) 757-3820; Hillsbor- ough Heights, 6209 County Road 579, Seffner, 33584 (813) 744-5533; Northwest County, 8001 W. Linebaugh Ave., Tampa, 33625 (813) 264-3816; and South County, 13000 U. S. High- way 41, Gibsonton, 33534 (813) 671-7611.
Hazardous Waste
Individuals wishing to dis- pose of household hazardous waste can do so on designated Saturdays throughout the
month, between the hours of 8amand2pm.
Those locations and dates are as follows: 1st Saturday of the month, Sheldon Road Facility, 9805 Sheldon Road, Tampa, 33635; 2nd Satur- day of the month, South County Facility, 13000 U. S. Highway 41, Gibsonton, 33534; and 3rd Saturday of the month, East County Facil- ity, 6209 County Road 579, Seffner, 33584.
There will be no serv- ices for hazardous waste disposal is available on the 4th or 5th Saturday of the month.

Members of Sisters Network of Tampa Bay will host their monthly meeting on Saturday, March 26th, from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. The meeting will take place at the Bob Gilbertson YMCA, 110 E. Palm Avenue.
Sisters Network is an organ- ization that provides support
for African American breast cancer survivors.

Community Health Fair
The board, staff and volun- teers of Miracles Outreach Community Development Cen- ter, Incorporated would like to invite everyone to their 3rd an- nual Community Health Fair, “Moms are Healthy,” to benefit the Mommy and Me Project.
This exciting community event will be Saturday, March 26th from 12 .m. to 3 p.m. at Miracles Outreach Community Development Center, 4501 East Hillsborough Avenue.
The event will be filled with fun for the children and a great learning experience for the par- ents participating.
There will be free clothing and household items on a first
come, first receive to all regis- tered attendees.
The Moms are Healthy Com- munity Health Fair supports the projects and services pro- vided through Miracles Out- reach’s Mommy and Me Project. It will focus on the kids are safe practices and topics of the health fair will include pre- natal nutrition, newborn care home safety seminars and well- ness components that will serve mothers who are preg- nant and/or single parents of children 0-8.
