Retirement Announcement
JERYLL COOK
Congratulations to my husband, Jeryll Cook, who on May 31, 2016 retired from the Hillsborough County Public Schools with 39 years of dedicated service, working as a Custodian, Special Proj- ect Support Service, Electri- cian and Maintenance West.
I thank God for this won- derful man and all he did and may the Lord continue to guide him and to do His will.
His Self-Image
Lord, I pray that (hus- band’s name) will find his identity in You. Help him to understand his worth through Your eyes and by Your standards. May he recognize the unique qualities You’ve placed in him and be able to appre- ciate them. Enable him to see himself the way You see him, understanding that You have made him a little lower than the an- gels, and You have crowned him with glory and honor. Quiet the voice that tells him otherwise and give him ears to hear Your voice telling him that it will not be his perfec- tion that gets him through life successfully – it will be Yours.
We all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being trans- formed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord. 2 CORINTHI- ANS 3:18
