Request for Proposals
Disposition of Vacant City-Owned Property
The City of Tampa ("City") gives notice pursuant to Part III, Chapter 163, Florida Statutes, of the request for submission of proposals for the sale of vacant City-Owned Property.
The property is located at 407 East Hamilton Avenue. The property will be sold on an “As Is” basis. The Proposer is required to make a firm offer for the Property, submit an earnest money deposit equaling 5% of the offered purchase price, and provide a completed and signed Land Sales Agreement and Project Proposal Form on the form provided by the City. The earnest money deposit will only be processed if the City approves the proposal for the purchase of the Property. Upon acceptance of the Proposal by the City and approval of execution of the Land Sales Agreement by the Tampa City Council, the Proposer shall be required to pay the balance of the purchase price at closing as provided in the Land Sales Agreement.
Interested parties are encouraged to submit proposals that are consistent with applicable laws, ordinances and regulations governing the location.
All Proposers must submit the City of Tampa Project Proposal Form, earnest money deposit and a completed and signed Land Sales Agreement within 30 days of the date of publication of the advertisement or by Friday, July 8, 2016, 4:00p.m., whichever is later, to the City of Tampa Purchasing Department, 306 E. Jackson Street-2E, Tampa, Florida 33602. Mark the outside of the sealed envelope “RFP Disposition of Vacant City-Owned Property Located at: 407 East Hamilton Avenue”.
To obtain a City of Tampa Project Proposal Form, a Land Sales Agreement form and other information applicable to the Project, you may access the City website at http://www.tampagov.net/real-estate. If a Proposer would like a Proposal package to be sent via U.S. mail, the Proposer should contact the Real Estate Division by calling (813) 274-8915.
In selecting a proposal, the City is not bound to make the award on the basis of the highest monetary offer. It is the City’s goal to strengthen the mission and stability of the residential community. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals, either in whole or in part, with or without cause, waive any informality of any proposals, cancel this request for proposals, and to make the award in the best interest of the City, subject to City Council approval.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS NO. P-007-16 STATE LEGISLATIVE SERVICES
Port Tampa Bay (PTB) is soliciting Request for Proposals (RFP) from qualified firms or individuals interested in providing comprehensive State (Florida) Legislative Services.
All interested firms will obtain a copy of the RFP Instructions and Submittal Documents and submit a completed response to Port Tampa Bay, 1101 Channelside Drive, 4th Floor, Tampa, FL 33602. Submittals are due by 1:00 pm, June 30, 2016. Responses will be opened at 1:00 pm on the same date.
PTB will hold A MANDATORY PRE-PROPOSAL TELECONFERENCE on Monday, June 13, 2016 at 2:00 pm. PTB will only accept proposals submitted by firms participating in the teleconference. See Section A, Paragraph 1.1 and Attachment 4 of the RFP for teleconference details.
All responses to the RFP shall include a letter indicating the Firm’s interest and completion of the RFP Documents, including a Vendor’s Questionnaire. Firms failing to submit the required RFP Documents may be deemed non-responsive to the RFP. The RFP is available through the DemandStar System (www.demandstar.com) or through a link on PTB web site (www.porttb.com).
PTB encourages the use of registered Small Business Enterprise (SBE) firms to the greatest extent possible on projects and has a goal of nine percent (9%) SBE participation. PTB will consider SBE participation when evaluating the responses.
