Sickle Cell Support Group Meeting
Enhance the Chance welcomes all sickle cell families. A Support Group Meeting will be held on Saturday, January.13, 2018, 1-2 p. m. The meeting will be held at the Children’s Board, 1002 East Palm Ave., Tampa, 33605.

Hands Of Hope 4th Annual Fashion Show
If you have Sickle Cell Disease or know someone who does, and would like to model in Hands of Hope 4th Annual Fashion Show, there will be a meeting on Saturday, December 2, 2017, 1 p. m. The meeting will be held at Springs of Life Church of God in Christ, 4116 N. 30th St., Tampa 33610.
The fashion show will be on Saturday, March 17, 2018, at the USF School of Music Building, 6 p. m.
Models must be at least 8 years old. This event is open to mothers, fathers, wives, husbands, brothers, or sisters related to someone with Sickle Cell.

Ribbon-Cutting And Grand Opening Of Hillsborough County Park
From its design to its name, Hillsborough County’s newest park is dedicated to building a sense of community. Seffner CommUNITY Park and Gardens in Seffner turned a large, empty field into a multi-faceted park with a fenced community garden, three separate walking trails, a gazebo, and two shelters with picnic tables. The project also included
lighting, drainage, and landscaping work.
A ribbon-cutting and grand opening ceremony will be held
at 10 a. m. on Monday, Dec. 4 at the park, 406 N. Kingsway Road.
