  $5,000 Reward Offered To Solve Brandon Murder
Woman Who Called
  Detectives are continuing its efforts to solve a murder that took place more than a year ago. A reward in the amount of $5,000 is being of- fered to help solve a murder.
According to the Hillsbor- ough County Sheriff’s Office, on November 22, 2019, shots were heard in the Bella Mar Apartments. Deputies were dispatched to the location and found an unidentified man lying on the ground.
The victim, later identi- fied as 25-year-old Kivontae Love, was transported to a local hospital, where he died as a result of his injuries.
Detectives would like to talk with anyone with infor- mation about the shooting is asked to contact Crime Stop- pers of Tampa Bay.

Shooting Arrested

At the time of the shoot- ing, witnesses told police two Black men were observed coming from the apartment complex shortly after the shots were fired.
On Tuesday morning, a woman called 9-1-1 to report she had shot someone. She then hung up the phone before providing additional informa- tion
When police arrived at the scene, they discovered a 28- year-old Black man, suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he died.
Officers searched an apart- ment where the suspect may have been hiding. However, she was not to be found.
Police did locate a firearm in plain sight on the sofa. De- tectives are continuing their investigation, but said it does not appear to be a random act.
As the investigation con- tinued, Ms. Joilica Suther- land contacted the Tampa Police Department on Tues- day. She identified herself as the woman who called 9-1-1
JOILICA SUTHERLAND ... Charged with manslaughter
and confirmed the gun found inside her apartment was her gun and it was used to shoot the victim. She then surren- dered to police.
Ms. Sutherland, 27, was charged with manslaughter with a weapon and has since been released from Orient Jail.

 A reward in the amount of $9,500 is being offered to help solve a murder. The murder took place during the early morning hours of Janu- ary 20, 2021.

Complex, 812 Providence Trace Circle, they found an injured man. The victim, later identified as 28-year-old Jahlil Lewis, was suffering from upper body trauma.
Hill was transported to Brandon Regional Hospital, where he died as a result of his injuries. Surveillance video from the area shows a vehicle of interest leaving the scene of the shooting. Detec- tives believe the vehicle to be a Dodge Ram.
Detectives would like to talk with the driver of the ve- hicle to determine if he has more information pertaining to the shooting.
Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a $5,000 re- ward for information leading to the identity and arrest of the suspect.
In addition to the $5,000, an additional $4,500 has been made available through the Florida Association of Crime Stoppers, in partner- ship with the Florida Office of Attorney General. The re- ward will remain available until June 30, 2021.

Bat-Wielding Man Shot During Quarrel

A 30-year-old man is re- covering after being shot fol- lowing an argument. The incident took place Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Tampa Police Department, officers responded to the 20100 block of Weeping Laurel Place in reference to a shooting. When they arrived, they discovered that Jeremy Green was suf- fering from a gunshot wound. Green was transported to a local hospital, where he was listed in serious condition. His injuries were not considered life-threatening.
During the investigation, police learned that Green and a 25-year-old acquain- tance were at the location when they became engaged in an argument. Police said the two men are acquainted.
At some point, the verbal argument escalated and Green is alleged to have kicked the other man’s vehi- cle, causing damage. Green is

then alleged to have gone in- side the garage, retrieved a baseball bat, and approached the victim in an aggressive manner.
At that point, the victim re- portedly shot Green. Police said the 25-year-old victim is cooperating with police as they continue to investigate the case.
Green was charged with aggravated assault and crimi- nal mischief. He has been re- leased from the Hillsborough County Jail.
