LeBron Has Polite Diss For Kanye’s Rap Rant About Him And Nike
LeBron James is a busy man; so busy, in fact, that he hasn’t heard the single that heated up the Web on New Year’s Eve, Kanye West’s “Facts.”
“I haven’t really listened to it. I heard about it but I haven’t listened to it,” said the Cava- liers’ superstar to Cleveland.com on Monday (Jan. 4th).
West’s take on Drake and Future’s “Jumpman” throws several jabs at Nike, who was the original distributor of his Air Yeezy kicks (he is now part- nering with Adidas after claim- ing that Nike withheld royalties from him). He even

went as far as to name check King James, who recently inked a multi-million dollar deal with ‘Ye’s creative neme- sis.
“Nike, Nike treat employees just like slaves// Gave Le- Bron a billi’ not to run away.”
Although he has turned a rel- atively blind eye to the track, LeBron had some words about standing behind his brand amidst the diss.
“Obviously I’m going to side with Nike no matter who it is,” he said. “It’s just, it’s family when you talk about Nike, and I’m always on their side no matter what the situation is, so. We don’t look upon nobody on our side, we just try to put the best athletes that we can out on the floor every night.”
In other words, I will get paid for a lifetime...so who cares what you say, because you don’t matter....THANK YOU.
Carolina QB Cam Newton And Girlfriend Welcome New Baby Boy
Carolina Panthers quarter- back Cam Newton and his longtime girlfriend Kia Proc- tor welcomed a baby boy into the world on Christmas Eve. The baby name Cam, 26, and Kia, 27, picked was ...
Chosen! Chosen Sebast- ian Newton, to be exact, re- ports The Charlotte Observer. And he's a hefty little guy, weighing in at 9 pounds, 6 ounces.
"My longtime girlfriend and I were extremely blessed to have a son. Our family is ex- cited and thank you all for the well wishes!" Cam tweeted. "I’ve been quiet about this be- cause I didn’t want to create a distraction for my team and appreciate the privacy in this joyous time."
The joyous occasion has not come without backlash, though.

days. Even with his team going 15-1 and Cam on the way to winning the MVP of the league. That hasn’t stopped some people from finding silly things to complain about. First, there was the lady who got mad at his “pelvic thrusts” from when he was dabbing. Now, things are getting more out of hand as a Charlotte newspaper had a letters page wondering if Cam Newton was a bad influence for having a child without being married.
Floyd Mayweather Says Racism Still Exists In Boxing, MMA Play
Floyd Mayweather said in an interview that he believes "racism still exists in the sport of boxing," while also bringing notable UFC fighters Ronda Rousey and Conor McGre- gor into the conversation.
Mayweather was asked by the website Fight Hype about his take on the current state of boxing and cited racism as the reason that Andre Ward's ranking by Ring Magazine was not higher.
Floyd Mayweather won- ders why he's questioned about his behavior while the brash Conor McGregor, current UFC featherweight champion, isn't.
"I can't believe they [Ring Magazine] got Andre Ward ranked No. 4 in the pound-for- pound list," Mayweather said in an interview posted Wednesday. "Even though the guy that's ranked No.1 pound- for-pound right now [Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez], you know, you can't argue about that, but without Andre Ward losing a fight, he has to

be No. 2. ... I mean, he wins his fights not in good fashion, but in great fashion, and they have him at No. 4? They got some guy ranked No. 9, I don't really know his full name, so I don't want to be disrespectful, but they got a Japanese guy ranked No. 9. They got Andre Ward No. 4, and this guy that's ranked No. 9, we don't even know who he is. I truly believe that racism still exists in the sport of boxing."
