RAY WILLIAMS
WILSON
MR. MOSES JEROME DARBY
Mr. Moses Jerome Darby of Tampa, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2015.
Funeral services will be con- ducted Saturday, January 9, 2016, at 11 a. m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, with Pastor Donald Lott, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
Mr. Moses Darby was a na- tive of Salters, South Carolina and a resident of Tampa since he was 2 years old. He at- tended Harlem Academy in Tampa, and Moses loved to share stories of growing up in the “Garrison”.
He joined the United States Armed Forces in March (1943) and was a proud Veteran of WW II. After his Honorable Discharge in 1946, he met and married his wife of 60 years and relocated to New York City to raise a family.
Moses worked numerous jobs to keep his family afloat, finally settling in as a Conduc- tor with the New York City Transit Authority, where he eventually retired and re- turned to his hometown of Tampa, FL.
Family and friends referred to Moses as the “Preacher”, since he never failed to give you his opinion on what he thought was the ONLY way (his way) to handle life situations.
After the death of his beloved wife, Arline (Kitty) Darby in 2006, Moses re- mained in the home they built together until his illness in No- vember 2015. He was 90 years old.
He was preceded in death by: his wife; and his parents, Elizabeth Gilyard and Calvin Darby.
He leaves to mourn his pass- ing: his son, Douglas Darby of Las Vegas Nevada; his daugh- ter and son-in-law, Deirdre and Mel Harris of Kissimmee FL; his sister and brother-in- law, Hazel and Taylor Pringle of Collingswood, New Jersey; his sister, Pinky Lee Cherry of Jacksonville, FL; 4 grandchil- dren, Douglas Darby of Union, New Jersey, Scott Sims of West Palm Beach, FL, Steven Darby of San Antonio, Texas, and Jamila Badger of Queens, New York; and he also leaves 7 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other rela- tives and friends.
The remains will repose after 5 p. m., Friday, January 8, 2016, at Ray Williams Fu- neral Home.

SISTER SHARON DENISE SHEPPARD GARDENER
Sister Sharon Denise Shep- pard Gardener of Tampa, passed away Friday, January 1, 2016.
Funeral services will be con- ducted Saturday, January 9, 2016, at 11 a. m. at College Hill Church Of God In Christ, 6414 N. 30th Street, with Superin- tendant Charles Davis, pastor. Interment will be Monday, January 11, 2016, at 11 a. m. at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
Sharon was a native of Tampa, and was educated in the public schools of Hillsbor- ough County, where she grad- uated from Tampa Bay Tech High School, Class of 1983.
She was united in marriage to Lonnie Lee Gardener in June 2001.
Sharon was a lifelong mem- ber of College Hill Church of God in Christ, where she served faithfully until her health began to decline.
She was last employed by the School District of Hillsbor- ough County.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mother Dorothy L. Sheppard.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Lonnie Gardener; father, Deacon Leroy Sheppard, Sr.; mother- in-law, Julia May Gardener (Willie); son, Daryl Walker of Woodbridge, VA; 2 daughters, Lonnette Gardener and Brit- tany Gardener of Tallahassee, FL; 2 step-daughters, Karissa Rodgers and Jemisha Rodgers; 2 brothers, Leroy Sheppard, Jr. of Lake Alfred, FL, and Michael Sheppard; 4 brothers- in-law, Dwayne Gardener (An- gela), Richard Gardener (Maria) of Ocala, FL, Willie Gardener (Salina), and An- drew Gardener (Erica); 3 sis- ters, Carolyn Nicholson (Hilton) of Haughton, LA, Stephanie Clayton (Robert) of Tarpon Springs, FL, and Sylvia Goodwin (Chris) of San Anto- nio, TX; 2 sisters-in-law, Laura Bernadine (Bernard), and Jen- nifer Rohani (Micheal); a de- voted best friend, Bridgett Murdaugh (Darin); extended family members, Amy Wallace, Matthew Young, and Kayla Laviguer; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
The remains will repose after 5 p. m., Friday, January 8, 2016, at Ray Williams Fu- neral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue and the family will re- ceive from 6-7 p. m. at the Chapel.

MRS. CARRIE WILLIAMS PRINCE
Mrs. Carrie Williams Prince of Tampa, passed away Friday, December 25, 2015.
Funeral services will be con- ducted Saturday, January 9, 2015, at 1 p. m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3804 Danny Bryan Boulevard, Tampa, 33619, with Brother Michael Solomon, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
Mrs. Prince was a native of Jasper, FL, and a resident of Tampa since her early child- hood years. She was educated in the public schools of Hills- borough County and was a graduate of Don Thompson High School, Class of 1948.
She was preceded in death by: her sons, James Williams and David E. Prince; parents, Benjamin and Mary Williams; brothers, Haywood Williams, Jeff Williams, Frank Williams and Fred Williams; sister, Bertha Mae Williams; and grandparents, Richard and Clementine Cobbs.
She leaves to cherish her memory: daughters, Stella Prince and Berlinda Prince Lowe; son, Richard Muham- mad and wife, Adriane; grand- children, Chequitha Tillman (Wallace), Carolina Edjor (Ok- iemute), Toni Johnson, Ronald Muhammad, Johnathan Muhammad (Rosie), Ashia Muhammad, Richard Prince, Jr., (Luz), Atia Muhammad, Solomon Muhammad, McKen- zie Prince, and Nejah Prince; and a host of great grandchil- dren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

MS. SHAWNA WILLIAMSON
Ms. Shawna Williamson of Tampa, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2015.
Funeral services will be con- ducted Saturday, January 9, 2016, at 4 p. m. at Bethel Church, 1510 W. Hillsborough Avenue, with Minister Walter B. Jennings, officiating.
Ms. Williamson was a native of Kingston, Jamaica, and a resident of Tampa for 23 years.
She attended Champion's College, Hillsborough Commu- nity College and the University of Tampa. Shawna was em- ployed as a Project Manager at Verizon.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her son, Amiri Williamson Thomas; Amiri's father, Ian Thomas; mother, Carol Clahar; father, Vincent Williamson; brothers, Vincent Williamson, Jr., Bobby Williamson, Peter Williamson and Paul Williamson of Ja- maica; sisters, Allysia Still and Renae Williamson; maternal grandparents, Balbina Smikle and Alvin Clahar; 15 aunts and uncles; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other rela- tives and friends.

MR. ROBERT LEE GODWIN, JR.
Homegoing service for Mr. Robert Lee Godwin, Jr., who passed on December 23, 2015, will be held on Saturday, Janu- ary 9, 2016, at 2 p. m. at Wilson Funeral Home 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, 33605, Rev. K. P. King, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Me- morial Park Cemetery.
Robert was born in Tampa, to Robert Godwin Sr. and the late Retha Mae Loud on No- vember 4, 1974, and he resided in Tampa his entire life. He at- tended Hillsborough County Schools and graduated from Lavoy Exceptional Center.
He was employed with Mar- riot Hotel Industry for many years, until his illness forced him to retire. He was very lov- ing, caring and fun loving, and loved his brothers and his fam- ily.
He was preceded in death by: his mother, Retha Mae Loud; grandmothers, Mattie Worthy and Lola Godwin; grandfather, Henry Godwin; aunts, Rachel Singleton, Patri- cia Jackson, Mary Louise Pet- terson, Mary Liz Williams and Bessie Wilson; uncles, Otis Godwin, Henry Godwin and Patrick Godwin; and niece, Sierra McDuffie.
