Sunday, June 19, 2022, is Father’s Day. Fathers across the America will be cele- brated by their families as they pay homage to all they do for their families.
Although the media often portrays Black fathers as missing in action, the CDC reports that Black fathers were more likely to be en- gaged with their children than white or Hispanic fa- thers, regardless of whether they live in the same home.
In Tampa, Black fathers have definite opinions on how they are raising their children, and the ways they prepare their children for the world.
