ESPN’s College GameDay Will Be At Jackson State-Southern Game
FAMU Homecoming Events Happening All Week Long
    ESPN’s College GameDay is coming to Jackson State for a battle between longtime ri- vals.
The account @Col- legeGameDay tweeted the news Sunday morning that the road show will be in Jack- son for Jackson State-South- ern next Saturday.
JSU (7-0) is coming off a homecoming win versus
Campbell. Southern, leaders of the SWAC West at 5-2, were victorious in its 51-7 win over the Virginia University of Lynchburg in Baton Rouge.
Jackson State won the last meeting between the two teams, a 21-17 comeback vic- tory that clinched the SWAC East championship.

Florida A&M University (FAMU) 2022 Homecoming “The Experience” kicked off last weekend, with a drive-in movie on Saturday and a gospel experience and Coronation Ball on Sunday.

Good Morning
America (GMA)
from the FAMU
campus. GMA will air live from Bragg Memo- rial Stadium beginning at 6:45 a. m., on Friday, Oct. 28. Students, alumni and supporters are urged to attend. On Saturday, the show will broadcast from the bronze Rattler in front of the Center for Access and Success during the Homecoming Parade.
FAMU President Larry Robinson, Ph.D., said GMA coming to town just adds to the homecoming experience.
The Homecoming Pep Rally is scheduled for 7 p.m., on Thursday at Bragg Memorial Sta- dium. Also, on Friday, Oct. 28, Alumna Tiffany Greene will be the guest speaker for the Homecoming Convocation, at 10:10 a.m. at the Lawson Center.
The Marching “100” Band hosts the Rattler Strike Band Festival 2 p. m. at Gaither Gymna- sium. Friday’s festivities reach a climax with the

Hampton University an- nounced that the Foundation for Grammy awarding-win- ning artist Missy Elliott has provided a gift of $20,000 to fund a new, current-use scholarship for the Atlanta Chapter of the National Hampton Alumni Association (NHAA).

The Rattlers will play the University of Arkansas – Pine Bluff in the 4 p. m., homecoming game. The Homecoming Concert features the City Girls, Latto and other artists.
