Tom Brady Vs. Aaron
Teams: Los Angeles Rams vs. New England Patriots Date: Feb. 3, 2019
Time: 6:15 p.m. ET
TV: CBS
Streaming: CBS All Access | fubo.TV
The Los Angeles Rams need to get to Tom Brady, but it needs to be the right type of pressure. Brady’s passer rating is 118.7 when he gets pressured from the edge, but it’s a positively mortal 63.1 when it comes through the in- terior.
The Rams lead the NFL in interior pressure rate, while the Patriots have one of the best offensive lines in football, which kept Brady clean nearly 85 percent of the time against a good Kansas City pass rush in the AFC champi- onship game.
Now comes Aaron Don- ald, who, according to Pro Football Focus, had 106 pres- sures and a 26 percent win rate on his matchups, both the best in the NFL by a wide mar- gin. “Donald can do things that no other defensive tackle in NFL history has been capa- ble of,” PFF’s Austin Gayle

When the Bears single- teamed him in Week 14,
rather than try to block him, they got rid of the ball in 1.5 seconds on average. Amaz- ingly, Donald has the effect of making his teammate, Ndamukong Suh, a three- time first-team All-Pro, a side note.
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Brandin Cooks helped bring some joy to one member of the organization last week who does a lot of work for the team behind the scenes.
Cooks gave Alfonso Garcia, the team custodian, and his son two tickets to Super Bowl LIII, as well as ar- ranging a roundtrip flight and hotel accommodations for them. The Rams, who will take on the New England Pa- triots on Sunday, tweeted a video of Cooks’ interaction with Garcia.
Cooks, who is in his first season with the Rams after being traded from the Patri- ots, was asked about his act of kindness Tuesday, according to USA Today.
“Oh, man, Alfonso – the guy is special, man. He keeps our locker room in tip-top shape. He has such a special soul. Someone that I found myself drawn to once I got

there and I see him around the facility all the time. I just felt like it would be special for himtoseethatheisapartof this success as well, and I wanted him to be able to be at the Super Bowl with his son to enjoy that,” Cooks said.
It’s the second straight year Cooks will be in the Super Bowl. He went last year with the Patriots but had to leave the game early because of a concussion.
The Rams are looking for their first Super Bowl win since 2000.
Pelicans Superstar Anthony Davis Fined $50,000 By NBA For Trade Request

Matchup In The Super Bowl
The NBA on Tuesday fined New Orleans Pelicans superstar Anthony Davis $50,000 "for violating a col- lectively-bargained rule pro- hibiting players or their representatives from making public trade demands."
Davis' agent, Rich Paul, who also represents Los An- geles Lakers superstar Le- Bron James, told ESPN that Davis has no plans to sign an extension with New

Orleans and that his client
wants to be traded.
The NBA said the state-
ments made by Paul were "an intentional effort to un- dermine the contractual rela- tionship between Davis and the Pelicans."
The league on Monday opened an investigation into Paul’s trade request com- ments, and there is precedent for a player being fined for a public trade request made by the agent.
Kyrie 'Genuinely Interested' In Reuniting With LeBron On Lakers
Kyrie Irving may want to be teammates with Le- Bron James again.
The 26-year-old guard is “genuinely interested” in playing with James on the Lakers which cites an uniden- tified league source. Irving can opt out of his contract and become a free agent after the season.
Irving and James won a title with the Cavaliers while they were with the team from
KYRIE IRVING 2014-17. But, Irving was re-
portedly frustrated sharing the floor with James and de- manded a trade in July 2017.
Irving was eventually sent to Boston in exchange for Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic and a first-round pick.
The Lakers are also ex- pected to explore dealing for star Anthony Davis, who will not re-sign with New Or- leans and asked the team to move him.
