   National Council Of Negro Women Tampa Metropolitan Section Hosts 44th Annual Luncheon
 The National Council of Negro Women, Inc, Tampa Metropolitan Section held its 44th Annual Bethune Recognition Luncheon on June 2, 2018. The event was held at the Embassy Suites at USF. This year’s theme was: “Our Legacy, Our Leadership, Our Future.”
The guest speaker for the luncheon was Reverend Quincenia Bell of Bible-Based Fellowship Church, Carrollwood. She was introduced by the Chaplain, Brenda Greenway. Deborah B. Martin was the Mistress of Ceremonies.
Awards to the luncheon honorees were presented by President, Rosa Cambridge. They were: Mrs. Gloria Andrews, Rev. Dr. C. P. Epps, (the late) Mrs. Ruth Harvey Brown, Mrs. Doris Scott and Ralph Smith.
Mrs. Josephine Townsend presented the Electa Davis Scholastic Achievement Awards to: Ms. Sarai Simmons, Ms. Kelly Walker, Malik Cooper, and Cornelius Grooms.
Mrs. Sandra K. Gipson, State of Florida Interim President, presented Council Awards to: Mrs. Tem- press Solomon (Life Legacy Membership Award), Ms. Shawnette Fogle and Ms. Brenda Greenway (Life Membership Awards) and President Cam- bridge (Bethune Achiever Award).
Other program participants were: Dr. Ralph Bennett, Ms. Erma Griffin (2nd Vice President), Ms. Deborah Martin, Ms. Joann Harris, Mrs. Sadarria James, Ms. Colleen Smith, 1st Vice Pres- ident and Program Chairman, and Ms. Audrey Miller. The soloist for the luncheon was Sadarria James.
