Learning Circles: The History of Rock Tuesday, June 19,
and 26 at 6 p. m. North Tampa Branch Library, 8916 N. Boulevard, Tampa
Learning Circles are study groups for people who want to take online courses together, in person. This Learning Circle will meet for eight weeks to work through “The History of Rock, Part One,” a course that explores the development of rock ‘n’ roll, primarily in the United States.
For adults. Limited to 12 participants. One-time regis- tration for the entire eight-ses- sion course is required; register through the calendar feature at HCPLC.org.

Payne Friends of the Urban Libraries, the Friends of the Maureen B. Gauzza Public Library, and the Friends of the Jimmie B. Keel Regional Library.
  COUPLE CELEBRATES 75TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY
RETIRED CHIEF MASTER SERGEANT DAVID A. BRYANT AND BERTHENESS (MOUNT) BRYANT
Retired Chief Master Sergeant David A. Bryant and Bertheness (Mount) Bryant celebrated their 75th Wed- ding Anniversary on June 14, 2018.
“At Last,” Glenn Miller’s theme song turned their hearts into everlasting love and brought them into marriage at the ages of 17 and 18. – Proud immediate family mem- bers: son and daughters, David A., Jr., Wanda Lisa, Rujel Denise, and Reanata Yvette.
Chief Bryant served five (5) years in the Army and twenty-five (25) years in the Air Force. Chief Bryant’s im- mediate family accompanied him for seven years during two permanent assignments in England.
Chief Bryant landed on Omaha Beach – Head, Nor- manda France D+10, June 1944 and was awarded 4 Military Battle Stars for serving in major battles from France to Ger- many. DAB.
