Bible-Based Fellowship Church To Hold Community Wide Thanksgiving Luncheon
No one should go hungry, especially on Thanksgiving. The Bible-Based Fellowship Church in Carrollwood will feed people in need at its inau- gural Build Hope Thanksgiv- ing Luncheon. The event will take place on Wednesday, Nov.25from11a.m.to1 p. m. on the campus of Bible- Based Fellowship Church.
For more than a decade, Bible-Based has prepared Thanksgiving boxes filled with food to assist families in need in making a healthy, nutritious meal during the holiday. But this year, the church is trying a different approach.
“Our typical food distribu- tion did not allow us to serve people who are homeless, liv- ing in shelters, or hotels,” said Antionette Davis, coordina- tor of the church’s Food Pantry Ministry. “This year, we are inviting individuals and fami- lies in the Tampa Bay commu- nity to sit down and share a Thanksgiving meal with our church family in an effort to broaden our reach in building hope for others in this holiday season.”
